- The finger structure consists of a welded and hot dip zinc-plated steel frame. The frame consists of IPE 100 profiles for models 5,0 m and 5,3 m long, IPE 120 profiles for models 6,3 m and 7,3 m long, IPE 160 profiles for models 8,3 m and 10,3 m long, all being adequately wind-braced. The frame is equipped with reaction diagonal profiles placed on the connection side to the pontoon.
- The finger is connected to the pontoon through proper joints knees, working on polyamide self-lubricating bearings.
- The buoyancy is obtained thanks to respectively 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 13 floats in plastic. The floats are filled by expanded self-extinguishing (ISO DIS 1182.2 test method) closed cells polystyrene.
- On the frame are welded ovals rings for the mooring of boats.
- The upper side is covered by similteck staves dunnage to make walking comfortable and easy.
- Both sides are provided with bumpers made of polypropylene added with U.V. filters and are injection moulded; the head is provided with a special rotary bumpers in order to avoid risk of damage to the boats during mooring.
- Stainless steel bolts are used for every connection.

Marinetek Mooring fingers are very strong, making them ideal for demanding applications.
The fingers have a high load-bearing capacity and are very stable. The standard versions are equipped with all-round PVC fenders and mooring points. The fingers are fitted to the pontoon by rubber bolt joints and adapters to match different frame materials and designs. The width of the timber deck is 0,7/0,75 m.

Mooring fingers
Mooring fingers are the most modern , efficient and safe way to berth small boats.
They are adjustable in length and number of floats according to the dimensions of the berthing boat. Manufactured in light and base options, the base option is provided with a wooden deck made from larch.
The design of fastening of the mooring fingers enables an individual approach to their location on the pontoon moorings.

This articulating finger pontoon comprises a galvanised steel/aluminium frame with a hardwood deck and is suppor ted on concrete floats. It has been developed specifically for locations with limited water level variation. The pontoon is available either for use with an end pile or as a cantilever from the quay wall.
The design has the following features:
