A floating pontoon looks simple. This is deceptive. Structural calculations are made before production, the products are inspected and details are modified in accordance with many years of experience.
Some parts simply cannot be calculated and they can only be worked out in practice.

The standard elements are produced by us in widths of 155 cm, 170 cm, 190 cm and 240 cm.
The length of the pontoons is generally between 6 and 7 metres.
You can choose between freeboard heights of about 45 cm and about 55 cm.
In the middle of the floating walkway there is space for laying cables and pipes for electrical modules and water taps.

International Marine Floatation and its predecessor Danbuoy have been manufacturing positive concrete floatation platforms since 1983. The IMF patented connector system was developed for use in the aquaculture industry with its high requirements for performance in rough water. Floating structures are custom designed to meet various load capacities and customer specifications.

Our rowing boat rafts sit about 17 cm above water level. The skilful construction and maximum filling with buoyancy aids result in a strong, stable and durable rowing boat pontoon.
For canoe sports we have developed a floating pontoon with a freeboard of 25 cm. These floating pontoons have a surrounding buffer board on the cladding, which makes it easier to get in and out of a canoe. |
