Be surprised. Very pleasantly surprised. So you think you need a 40-footer to be happy? You may think differently after you step aboard the 36-foot C&C 110, a two-cabin racer/cruiser that has the speed to start a buzz back at the yacht club and the below-deck amenities to please your family or cruising spouse. The racing speed comes from the finely-tuned C&C design recipe. The cruising interior comes from the inventive use of angled bulkheads and double-duty functionality that makes the most of cabin space.

In 2007, the Salona 37 won Sailing World Magazine's Boat of the Year Award for Best Cruiser/Racer. After thorough inspections and test sails of the 19 nominated boats, an independent panel of experts selected the Salona 37 as the winner of the Cruiser/Racer category.
In an article published in Sailing World January/February 2007, judges were impressed with the stainless steel structural grid in the bilge, cockpit layout, ease of sailing and acceleration, ability to quickly switch between cruising and racing modes and the overall fit and finish of the Salona 37.

FROM REAL SIZE AND A CONCEPT WITH DEPTH. It is not only the large things that make the difference between an average yacht and the SUNBEAM 37. It is also obvious in many small details. One example is the realisation of the centre cockpit layout. Although the passageway to the aft cabin has a comfortable head-room of almost 1.80m, the yacht still retains sporting lines.
The outstanding cruising qualities of the SUNBEAM 37 are achieved due to the very low centre of gravity, a low coach roof, a high sail carrying capacity, and perfect control ergonomics on and below deck. The fantastic steering response while travelling backwards, greatly simplifies harbour manoeuvring. The fine steven cuts smoothly through the waves and gives the yacht a comfortable motion and good course holding properties, even in choppy seas.

Take a winning concept and start with a blank sheet of paper. That's how the Hallberg-Rassy 37 has been created. A well-built long distance cruiser with great comfort and easy handling. The engine is powerful and the tank capacity is generous. The cockpit is very well protected by the HR typical wind screen. The woodwork is crafted by experienced boat builders. She shows attention to detail. Her predecessor HR 36 has been the most successful model in her category with over 600 yachts sold in fourteen years. The HR 37 is designed with the same concept but with 14 years of Frers' and Hallberg-Rassy's experience incorporated. That adds a lot of new good features without sacrificing the traditional Hallberg-Rassy values.

The Thompson 35 has been designed to fill the gap for a large racing yacht that is capable of being towed on a trailer that can be dry sailed.
This boat has a removable rudder and a lifting keel, there is a central lifting hook on the top of the keel for hoisting onto its custom built trailer. This boat is pure racing with a large roomy cockpit with all sailing controls carefully placed for ease of use, yet we have managed to provide a functional interior for racing and short cruising.
Performance will be exhilarating with a large sail plan and a heavy lead bulb for added stability. The boat is expected to be capable of beating the forty footers upwind and to blow them away downwind. We have completed extensive testing on the design and have shown exceptional light air performance both upwind and downwind and yet it is a very stable and fast boat in a breeze. This boat is ideally suited for both inshore and coastal racing. The hull sections are a development of our successful T30 being fine upfront to allow the boat to sail well in a chop.

Not all design projects start with a blank sheet of paper. In this case, the starting point was a highly successful 36 footer, the MORRIS 36, of which Tom Morris had built some 32 beautifully individualized yachts before his clients suggested a "stretched" version. The 38 is a lengthened version which would offer additional sailing length for higher speed in open ocean conditions, increased lazarette stowage, and a more "modern" look.
Once the design got going, it became obvious that there were other areas in which the additional length could pay dividends. What started as an alteration merely to the hull, led to a new deck mold with 18 inches of additional cabin area beneath full headroom. This in turn engendered a new interior design which took advantage of a significant increase in usable cabin space.

The 34 Pilot's big sister, the Vancouver 38 Pilot is similarly conceived.
With the comfort and security of a raised deck saloon, everyone - the pilot included - can shelter from the elements while still enjoying 360 degree views.
The sailing performance is excellent with the same rig as the Vancouver 38 but with a self tacking staysail for convenience.
The interior volume for a 38 footer is vast, with three double sleeping cabins - all large, two heads compartments - and a large galley with space for every modern convenience.
It can be finished in a choice of timbers and tailored to the owner's exact requirements. There are spaces to fit any manner of optional equipment including generator, watermaker, fridge and freezer.
The Vancouver 38 Pilot is not a motor sailer but a powerful sailing yacht built for long distance cruising.

USING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN BOATBUILDING allows the designer latitude to deliver raceboat performance while maintaining cruising comfort. The new 115 is the latest embodiment of C&C's dedication to this seemingly contradictory ideal and to leading the industry in all facets of boatbuilding technology. With her epoxy resin, eglass, and CoreCell core post-cured hull laminate, vinylester resin infusion deck, and a carbon-fiber mast as standard equipment, the 115 maintains highoctane performance ratios yet an interior that features two separate cabins, luxurious main cabin, sit-down nav station, large galley, and head with stall shower. Others try to match what we're doing at C&C Yachts, but without the advanced building technology we've designed and employ, they simply do not have the tools required.

Performance Cruising – in Comfort!
The Hunter 38 was designed as an exceptionally comfortable cruiser with outstanding performance and easy handling. The sail plan features a large roach mainsail with flaking system and an anodized B&R double spreader fractional rig with struts on a conventional mast, or the easy-to-sail Selden® furling system. Coupled with either sail plan, the new stainless steel rudder design delivers exceptional power that is more aerodynamically efficient and responsive when under way. Interior comfort rules in the Hunter 38, thanks to the dedicated effort of our team of interior designers and stylists. Spaciousness is achieved by the 6’6” tall cabin ceiling framed in solid hardwood, which is balanced by an Everwear laminate sole. An extra large salon, master stateroom with en suite head, guest stateroom with V-berth, full-service galley and dedicated nav station all work together to create a functional interior living environment.
