FROM REAL SIZE AND A CONCEPT WITH DEPTH.
It is not only the large things that make the difference between an average yacht and the SUNBEAM 37. It is also obvious in many small details. One example is the realisation of the centre cockpit layout. Although the passageway to the aft cabin has a comfortable head-room of almost 1.80m, the yacht still retains sporting lines.
The outstanding cruising qualities of the SUNBEAM 37 are achieved due to the very low centre of gravity, a low coach roof, a high sail carrying capacity, and perfect control ergonomics on and below deck. The fantastic steering response while travelling backwards, greatly simplifies harbour manoeuvring. The fine steven cuts smoothly through the waves and gives the yacht a comfortable motion and good course holding properties, even in choppy seas.

Take a winning concept and start with a blank sheet of paper. That's how the Hallberg-Rassy 37 has been created. A well-built long distance cruiser with great comfort and easy handling. The engine is powerful and the tank capacity is generous. The cockpit is very well protected by the HR typical wind screen. The woodwork is crafted by experienced boat builders. She shows attention to detail. Her predecessor HR 36 has been the most successful model in her category with over 600 yachts sold in fourteen years. The HR 37 is designed with the same concept but with 14 years of Frers' and Hallberg-Rassy's experience incorporated. That adds a lot of new good features without sacrificing the traditional Hallberg-Rassy values.

A NEW PERFORMANCE LEVEL IN THE ELITE CLASS.
Welcome aboard the SUNBEAM 39, an unusually comfortable cruising yacht with exemplary speed potential. The perfected construction-principle of a modern rib framed yacht with fin-keel, essentially justifies the speed potential of the SUNBEAM 39 on all courses, but also gives perfect cruising qualities with balanced sea handling and manoeuvrability. The fine fore-ship guarantees a quiet and soft motion into a sea.
The built-in rib framework of the inner shell and laminated bulkheads achieve extremely high torsional strength. Extra hull reinforcement in the keel area and reinforcement plus a collision bulkhead in the bow area add to the safety features of the yacht. A feeling of security accompanies you on the SUNBEAM 39 from bow to stern; the strongly braced pulpit with teak step,(divided for a safer exit), stable double railings 60cm high, a divided pushpit with steps, the stern spoiler with folding bathing ladder, a safety rail around the mast (option), a self stowing anchor system including anchor winch, hand railings on coach roof, rubber trim on the edges of the stern as a buffer and replaceable rubber insert strips in the rubbing strips, all attribute to this feeling.

SUNBEAM 44. THE NEW DYNAMIC FORM OF SAILING.
The high-tech construction of the SUNBEAM 44 as a modern trapezoidal framed yacht with lead keel, semibalanced rudder and half skeg, guarantees a low wetted area. The self-supporting hull is built with an extremely robust, torsionally stiff rib frame, with traditional longitudinal and athwartships stringers for additional safety. The mast and schrouds are attached to a compression beam of galvanised ship building steel, which is laminated into the hull, so that the hull is relieved from the negative effects of load variations.

Morris Yachts has developed a center cockpit design for the traditional and very popular MY46. The traditional good looks and spaciousness of the aft cockpit MY46 lent itself perfectly to this adaptation. From toe rail down she is the oceangoing thoroughbred that is well known throughout the sailing world as a leader in integrity of performance, safety and sea keeping abilities. This raised salon deck version has dramatically increased the interior space and layout possibilities, offering Morris Yacht customers the opportunity to create precisely the layout that suits their needs.
On deck, the yacht is laid for ease of use, safety and comfort. She carries a high performance sail plan utilizing a non-overlapping jib, carbon spar, electric primary and halyard winches and a windlass with remote control in the cockpit. Navigation instruments are all interfaced with each other and are well located for visbility on the seahood and at the pedestal. The cockpit is large and has a secure feeling, with a walk-through at each coaming. The lazarette on the aft deck provides ample storage for sails, inflatable dingy, and related cruising equipment. A separate propane locker is located aft of the lazarette and accommodates up to three 10-lb bottles. A watertight bulkhead separates the forward stateroom from a foredeck locker, which is accessed by a Bomar hatc

The Oyster 46 is a very powerful yacht, almost certainly best in class for righting movement and form stability, with a hull and deck that are lighter, stronger and stiffer than her predecessors. Add to this more beam, a much longer waterline and significantly more sail area and the whole equation adds up to a significant improvement in performance.
Her large cockpit benefits from the extra beam and lessons learnt from professional ergonomic studies and years of sailing experience. The 46 offers good headroom throughout with a three-cabin accommodation layout, allowing six to sleep in comfort, without using the saloon. The owner enjoys en-suite facilities, whilst the forward two cabins share a comfortable heads and shower.
The Oyster 46 really is more revolution than evolution, so if you are looking for a new benchmark in this size range take a closer look and stand by to be impressed.
