FROM REAL SIZE AND A CONCEPT WITH DEPTH. It is not only the large things that make the difference between an average yacht and the SUNBEAM 37. It is also obvious in many small details. One example is the realisation of the centre cockpit layout. Although the passageway to the aft cabin has a comfortable head-room of almost 1.80m, the yacht still retains sporting lines.
The outstanding cruising qualities of the SUNBEAM 37 are achieved due to the very low centre of gravity, a low coach roof, a high sail carrying capacity, and perfect control ergonomics on and below deck. The fantastic steering response while travelling backwards, greatly simplifies harbour manoeuvring. The fine steven cuts smoothly through the waves and gives the yacht a comfortable motion and good course holding properties, even in choppy seas. |

Performance Cruising – in Comfort!
The Hunter 38 was designed as an exceptionally comfortable cruiser with outstanding performance and easy handling. The sail plan features a large roach mainsail with flaking system and an anodized B&R double spreader fractional rig with struts on a conventional mast, or the easy-to-sail Selden® furling system. Coupled with either sail plan, the new stainless steel rudder design delivers exceptional power that is more aerodynamically efficient and responsive when under way. Interior comfort rules in the Hunter 38, thanks to the dedicated effort of our team of interior designers and stylists. Spaciousness is achieved by the 6’6” tall cabin ceiling framed in solid hardwood, which is balanced by an Everwear laminate sole. An extra large salon, master stateroom with en suite head, guest stateroom with V-berth, full-service galley and dedicated nav station all work together to create a functional interior living environment. |

Some part acquired taste, some part pure sensation.
It takes much time and experimentation to develop the taste for a special single malt like a 12 year old Laphroaig from Islay. The sensation is unrivalled; a perfect synergy between product, context and consumer.
On the other hand the sensation of moving over water at speed is not an acquired taste. This is pure pleasure.
Moondance 39 is a boat for those that have acquired the taste for the exceptional, rare and personal experience of sailing something simple and graceful, without embellishments and without the clutter and mass of unwanted facilities. It is a boat for those that want to feel the exhilaration of pure speed with no fuss.
Moondance 39 is a modern performance yacht with elements of traditional styling. She has been designed to perform exceptionally well with little effort. Her slightly flared bows turn elegantly into a tumblehome stern combined with a low freeboard gives her a sleek and distinctive look. Below the waterline she is equipped with a state of the art underbody and appendices. Moondance 39 radiates style and performance.
The cockpit is gigantic. Two sofa-like seats measuring 2.6m by 0.5m surrounds a large cockpit floor only broken by the large tiller and main sail track. The internal arrangement is minimalistic and comfortable. A king size double fore-berth extends into two saloon seats and a galley and heads. The navigation area is similar to that found on open 60s; it is workmanlike and comfortable. |

The SEALION 36 program is mainly for a cruising use but can be thought for longer journeys. The solution of the two-keels was held since it offers the interesting compromise between an easy "running aground" and a good stability all across.
This boat can easily be monitored by one single person. It's moves and length of sails will bring you a real pleasure of sailing.
The plan of the deck has been designed to facilitate the motion. The lay-out, simple and easy to maintain in good conditions was done according to sea-life. |

The Young 38 was born out of a desire to create a supremely manageable yacht in all areas of performance and ease of ownership. The project was initiated by Rod Skellet (former Australian Super 30 champion) after experiences competing in the 2002 Transpac race. Since that time YYD ltd and Rod have been developing a new design/concept that pushes forward into a new area of the yachting marketplace.
The concept for the Young 38 was to create a yacht that could fit into a 40'shipping container on its own road trailer complete with a 2 piece mast. The yacht is very narrow with a very flat hard bilged hull shape and has a retracing/canting keel and removable ruder box. The yacht can be launched using a boat ramp or single point lift system. The Young 38 is designed to be crewed by 4 people so the entire program of shipping a yacht to any location in the world including crew costs is minimal allowing the owner to compete in a variety of regattas as and offshore races at a fraction of the costs normally associated with a vessel this size.
Sailing the Young 38 will be very exciting; the hull shape is designed to plane downwind and carry its sail area upwind thanks to the canting keel. Lateral resistance is provided by dihedral wings attached to the bulb keel. The interior can be set up for weekend cruising as needed. The exterior is very sleek with teak decks flush fitting bowsprit, recessed furling drum and under deck control lines to cockpit winches. |

SUNBEAM 39 - A NEW PERFORMANCE LEVEL IN THE ELITE CLASS. Welcome aboard the SUNBEAM 39, an unusually comfortable cruising yacht with exemplary speed potential. The perfected construction-principle of a modern rib framed yacht with fin-keel, essentially justifies the speed potential of the SUNBEAM 39 on all courses, but also gives perfect cruising qualities with balanced sea handling and manoeuvrability. The fine fore-ship guarantees a quiet and soft motion into a sea.
The built-in rib framework of the inner shell and laminated bulkheads achieve extremely high torsional strength. Extra hull reinforcement in the keel area and reinforcement plus a collision bulkhead in the bow area add to the safety features of the yacht. A feeling of security accompanies you on the SUNBEAM 39 from bow to stern; the strongly braced pulpit with teak step,(divided for a safer exit), stable double railings 60cm high, a divided pushpit with steps, the stern spoiler with folding bathing ladder, a safety rail around the mast (option), a self stowing anchor system including anchor winch, hand railings on coach roof, rubber trim on the edges of the stern as a buffer and replaceable rubber insert strips in the rubbing strips, all attribute to this feeling. |
