The latest Yacht from the new Centurion generation could not hide her origins :
Also designed by Berret / Racoupeau Y.D., her timeless hull and deck lines unmistakably evoke those of the Centurion 45s.
On the technical side, the hull is built using the infusion technique, the lead keel has a moderate bulb and the deck fittings are the best available. The Centurion 40s is also equipped with the Wauquiez patented transom platform fitted on the 45s.
In terms of accomodation, the Centurion 40s favours comfort above all : 2 double cabins, separate head and shower compartments, « L » shaped galley, and 2 real sea berths in the saloon. The quality of the cabinetwork inside is in the pure Wauquiez tradition, combining elegance and functionality.

Very striking is the new coachroof. With plenty of hatches and windows we achieved spacious and lighter cabins with an excellent ventilation.

New Rimar 41,3 is previewed in two called versions Sport and Cruiser: before with sport vocation, it is characterized from an increased velico plan and a deeper bulb, while the second one is equipped of a more apt crew to the Mediterranean cruise.

The new Comet 41 Sport was designed by the Vallicelli.
Clothed in elegant, modern lines, the Comet 41 Sport is a natural addition to the COMAR Yachts series which already includes the Comet 51 S and the Comet 45 S. The volumes of the low, elegant deckhouse have obviously been very carefully designed as indeed has the roomy cockpit, which is also available in the open stern version with a very straight stem with rake angles maximised with respect to the LOA.The Comet 41 Sport has a composite construction using Airex sandwich with epoxy vinyl resin and multiaxial glass tissues. The fin keel boasts an elongated wing as per the IMS rule. However, solutions more in line with IRC and Open racing or cruising are also available.

| THE SUNBEAM 42. The deck layout offers the crew comfortable working and relaxing areas. An ergonomic concept with practical control capability direct from the safety of the centre cockpit. The standard equipment delivered with the SUNBEAM 42 is a fine example of Schoechl Yachtbau's understanding of requirements for active and passive safety on board. With a laid teak deck and solid teak toe rails, genoa sheet tracks leading very far aft with Sunbeam turning blocks for a clear cockpit, side gates in the lifelines, stainless steel pushpit with bathing platform and bathing ladder, recessed jib tracks and deck fittings and lots more that lends to your personal safety. This includes a roll reef genoa and roll reef main sail with a minimum clearance of 2 meters under the boom. |

The first vessel of a completely new yacht generation of Moody was formally unveiled at the weekend. Several hundred sailors from all across Europe especially made their way to the Moody headquarters in Swanwick. There were also many members of the Moody Owners Association amongst them, who are particularly committed to the brand.
"Moody is an old, traditional English brand. Members of the English Royalty have had their vessels built here. Today we have injected new life into the Moody brand. Thus, the continuation of a 150 year old yacht-building tradition with a completely new generation of vessels. The Moody brand has always been synonymous with innovation, quality and solid craft – and it shall continue like that in the future. Today's chosen design for the Moodywill be tomorrow's design for yachting!" says Michael Schmidt of HanseYachts AG that took over the brand last year.
Over the entire weekend the German dockyard manager and the English Moody designers Bill Dixon and Marc Tucker were available to answer questions from guests at Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble. They personally accompanied viewings onboard. Many English sailors attended not wanting to miss this opportunity to view the "new Moody" more closely.
New ideas from throughout yacht construction industry were considered in the design of this deck saloon yacht. The saloon is on the same level as the cockpit – creating a feeling of space, which is usually only experienced on large motor yachts. Clear lines, a tidy deck and thought-through operating elements allow a small crew to sail this sailing yacht safely in high seas.
In addition there are several variations for the interior. The significant long roof provides for good protection against the weather without impeding the view.
And as the hull is made of Epoxy osmosis is no longer a concern for this vessel; the 45 DS also has particularly good sailing characteristics.
