The 40' Std boat catamaran is our favourite. More than 50 of these boats now sail the lengths and breadths of the seas in total safety. Like all the OUTREMER boats, its living space is, of course, lower than its competitors, but sailing comfort and performance are definitely there. You will discover an exceptional catamaran in the "Open" version, for its huge cockpit, a "small coachroof" favours deck surface or a "large coachroof", interior comfort. Here too it would be a shame not to give it those fabulous aft platforms for boats!

Brazapi 410 was conceived like having the ideal size to plan to travel around the world in full safety. It is equipped with the habitability and the comfort which one is in right to wait for such a tour.
Its veils are not yet rather large nor many doors for boats to require a crew and it can be operation by a person alone.
In spite of the permanent concern to design a light for boats boat, we succeeded in maintaining a good "height under deck-beams". Its great width and a height on reasonable water confer on Brazapi 410 a behavior and a passage to the sea specimens.
The 410 is a fast boat catamaran being able to reach high speeds with those of the real wind.
It is with this philosophy that we produce different poured of the 410.

Ocean going Sailboat catamaran well suited to round the world cruises. A boat of fairly reasonable size, she keeps a good manoeuvrability by single handed crew. Her price remains fair. Her very carrying underwater body is well suited to this programme, combining Volume, Stability, Strength, Seaworthiness and satisfying swiftness. It is a catamaran able to either wander along the coast (1m draft) or sail round the world.
Outside, the deck saloon, the sun baths and the large access to the sea will make this zone very pleasant when navigational as much as when anchoring.
The ergonomics of the deck and the circulation in the cockpit / deck saloon has been particularly studied for this catamaran.
Boat designed to live in, the circulations on board for boat should not be a hindrance. So we developed a deck plan in the same spirit as for the Galileo 45', the helm and handling place is deliberately placed away from passage, raised for an excellent all round visibility. The whole manoeuvre comes back to this place and the main sail track for boat goes up to the top for boats of the portico. The cockpit/deck saloon being entirely dedicated to life on board, a binimi covering the whole lot.

Rataplan was the first Crowther Design MK II #95 vessel. A Dutch couple with a child were looking for a simple, seaworthy, economic, live-aboard vessel capable of unrestricted cruising with only basic systems. The vessel was supposed to be absolutely safe, rock solid and with emphasis on sailing performance.
Manutara was the first vessel ordered by a local and experienced yachtsman. His previous vessel was a monohull motorsailor, which he used extensively in the Patagonian Channels. Because he was expecting addition to his family he asked for a stable, seaworthy vessel with four independent staterooms and an interior steering for boats station, because of the predominant bad weather down south. Besides that, he was looking for a higher speed potential because of the vastness of the area in the Patagonian Channels. |
