Just a few numbers say a lot about the C&C 99's performance. The sail area-to-displacement ratio is 21.5, the righting moment is 883 foot pounds per degree, the “J” (foretriangle) dimension is 13 feet, and the area of the spinnaker, courtesy of an oversize 14-foot, 6-inch pole, is 1,026 square feet. Other vital ingredients of the speed recipe include an easily-driven canoe body with minimum wetted surface; a near-plumb bow to maximize waterline; a deep, balanced spade rudder; a high-lift-foil keel for windward efficiency. Sailors all over the country have noticed how quick the C&C 99 is—she won her class at Key West Race Week, and both Cruising World and SAIL magazine selected the C&C 99 as one of the best boats of the year.

USING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN BOATBUILDING allows the designer latitude to deliver raceboat performance while maintaining cruising comfort. The new 115 is the latest embodiment of C&C's dedication to this seemingly contradictory ideal and to leading the industry in all facets of boatbuilding technology. With her epoxy resin, eglass, and CoreCell core post-cured hull laminate, vinylester resin infusion deck, and a carbon-fiber mast as standard equipment, the 115 maintains highoctane performance ratios yet an interior that features two separate cabins, luxurious main cabin, sit-down nav station, large galley, and head with stall shower. Others try to match what we're doing at C&C Yachts, but without the advanced building technology we've designed and employ, they simply do not have the tools required.
The C&C 115's long waterline (33 feet) produces a very impressive 147 displacement/length ratio. Her epoxy hull laminate consists of an all uni-directional e-glass structural laminate locally reinforced with uni-directional carbon fiber and sandwiched on CoreCell linear urethane foam coring. The laminate is carefully impregnated in metered equipment, consolidated along with all reinforcements and the coring, and placed under vacuum to allow ambient temperature cure. After this,the laminate is post-cured in a computer-controlled oven to maximize the physical properties of the composite. Building the laminate this way produces the lightest, strongest, and stiffest structure possible and the weight saved can be used for interior appointments and additional ballast further enhancing the 115's performance and livability.

Finally there is a racer/cruiser with speed to burn and two luxurious staterooms for great cruising. There's no secret to the C&C 121's speed. The masthead rig spreads an impressive 846 square feet of working sail, which works out to a zippy sail area-to-displacement ratio of 23.2. To turn sail area into speed, choose from an array of keel options—the 8-foot Deep Fin, 6-foot, 6-inch Standard Fin, or 4-foot Shoal Draft Bulb. Harken winches, blocks, and deck hardware is sited in all the right places and when you're at the helm, you'll appreciate the responsiveness of the Lewmar rack-and-pinion steering and that the self-tailing primary winches are within easy reach.
Down below, don't be too surprised that the interior appointments of the C&C 121 strike you as a lot more luxurious than you'd expected. The varnished cherry joinerwork, teak-and-holly cabin sole, designer fabrics, 6-foot, 4-inch headroom, solid-surface countertops, and seven opening deck hatches are just a part of what makes the C&C 121 interior a success. On the mechanical side, we've devoted a lot of attention to reducing engine noise and vibration by installing a quiet, smooth-running Volvo Saildrive with a geared prop—there's no stuffing box to leak, misaligned prop shaft to rattle, or sketchy performance in reverse.
The construction technology, design, and top-level hardware above and below deck are key to the 121's success. So too is passion. C&C 121 owners tell us that their boat continues to sizzle long after they've taken delivery. She goes fast on the water, looks great at the dock, and cruises in style and speed. Long and lean with great sail carrying ability, the C&C 131 promises exhilarating performance coupled with heart pounding good looks. Her stability and impressive performance numbers are made possible by C&C's advanced construction technology. A sail area to displacement ratio of 26.3 in this production racer/cruiser is compliments of C&C's Carbopoxy composite hull construction, resin infused composite deck, carbon fiber mast and boom, PBO standing rigging and carbon fiber rudder and post. Stability is optimized by a firm hull form and a low slung lead bulb on a high aspect ratio cast fin. To allow entrance into shallower harbors, a retracting fin of identical shape and weight as the fixed fin is also available. She is powered by a tall carbon fiber, double spreader rig and ultra light PBO rigging. We believe good aesthetics are an important element to any yacht design. The 131 will use her C&C design heritage to make a bold entrance into any harbor.
In addition to performance optimization, the 131 has incorporated many C&C features designed to make easy to sail and easy to handle a performance boat reality. The Thompson 35 has been designed to fill the gap for a large racing yacht that is capable of being towed on a trailer that can be dry sailed.
This boat has a removable rudder and a lifting keel, there is a central lifting hook on the top of the keel for hoisting onto its custom built trailer. This boat is pure racing with a large roomy cockpit with all sailing controls carefully placed for ease of use, yet we have managed to provide a functional interior for racing and short cruising.
Performance will be exhilarating with a large sail plan and a heavy lead bulb for added stability. The boat is expected to be capable of beating the forty footers upwind and to blow them away downwind. We have completed extensive testing on the design and have shown exceptional light air performance both upwind and downwind and yet it is a very stable and fast boat in a breeze. This boat is ideally suited for both inshore and coastal racing. The hull sections are a development of our successful T30 being fine upfront to allow the boat to sail well in a chop.

Created by Luca Brenta, the Grand Soleil 54 was voted ‘Boat of the Year’ at the genoa Boat Show in 2007.
She portrays the clean, flowing lines and clear decks which have become synonymous with Grand Soleil but she also benefits from many exclusive details and technological features which are more usually associated with a custom yacht than with series production model.
The hull and deck are constructed from a PVC sandwich with polyester and vinylester resin, using unidirectional and biaxial glass fibres. Solid laminate around the keel, wheel and chock areas guarantees maximum stiffness and rigidity.

From its large carbon wheel to the fine teak joinerwork and Ultra-leather or suede upholstery below, or simply by the smooth, graceful way it slides through the water, the new J/124 is every bit a sailing yacht… in the best sense of the word. One that is a joy to sail in all conditions with minimal crew and with rare need to employ the auxiliary diesel engine.
Yet, J/124’s focus on short-handed sailing qualities doesn’t preclude many days of offshore coastal sailing. Her narrow beam and low center-of-gravity are hallmarks of seaworthiness.
J/124 is a true escape…away from all the trappings and chores of home. Little-used amenities and complex cruising systems are discouraged where possible. But, all the important stuff is there: An adequate galley and chart table; the accessible top-loading icebox; 6 feet of headroom; three separate sleeping areas; a dodger for all-weather protection; and a cockpit made secure with 14” high backrests and seats that are long enough to sleep on.

Not only hoses but also cables, ropes and umbilicals need to be lightened under water. Resinex gives its customers a complete range of floats with reduced diameters. The key success factor of this activity is tightening. The floats cannot slip on the cable when assembled. Resinex has developed particular polyurethane clamps and reducers to maximize the grip on the cable surface. Particular studies have been carried on to give our products the best mix between loads, weight of materials and tightening forces.
Now we can supply different solutions to garantee the higher tightening force together with the usual high resistance to pressure until a 7.000 meter depth.
