The Diesel Unit
The diesel engine installed in our various cranes is equipped with various safety features like flame arrester, spark arrester, air inlet shutdown etc. We have third party certification for Diesel Engine for compliance to EEMUA Pub 107 (Recommendation for the Protection of Diesel Engine Operating in Hazardous Area) and other international safety standards.

The produced by Towimor wire luffing cargo cranes of various type are universal cranes designed for handling of various type of cargo transported on board the vessels. The cranes can be adapted for operation with grab, spreader and swivel. As a standard cargo cranes with hoisting capacity of 25-45 tons are available.
Cranes can be delivered as self-supported ones, with slewing interlocks (prepared for resting without jib support) and for special projects.
All types of cranes have a safety and convenient communication way for the crane operation, maintenance, check and overhaul purposes.
Drive elements are located inside the crane housing what limits a possibility of environment pollution in case of unexpected event (e.g. bursting of hydraulic hose).
The drive enables stepless individual or common simultaneous work of all the crane mechanisms.
Driving control is performed by use of programmable microprocessor controller In case of any interference in the crane operation the microprocessor controller displays defect which disturbs crane opreation or immobilizes the crane.
The cranes are equipped with safety devices ensuring that lack of supply or wrong operation will not cause the crane and ship damage.
In order to meet Customer's requirements above cranes can be additionally equipped with:
-air conditioning in operator cabin
-drive for operating of grab, spreader or hook turning device
-additional heating for arctic condition
-additional special equipment for special types of cargo
-adapter for deck column
-support for jib in rest positon
