FOR SLIDING FIRE PROTECTION DOORS.
THE COMPACT UNIT PCS 2000 ACCORDING TO SOLAS KAP. II-2/30
The patent pending PCS2000 door drive system comprises the following applications:
* PCS 2000-SS in stainless steel for offshore platforms and FPSOs to cope with up to 27 inclination.
* PCS 2000-YACHT for watertight bulkhead sliding doors HI SKD-YACHT-WF
* PCS 2000-CAR DECK for A60 and semi watertight doors for car decks on Ro/Pax Ferries
Custom designed by AP-Marine and now used internationally, this drive system for sliding fire protection doors conforms to all current safety regulations.
With its compact system, installation work is reduced to a minimum. Cylinder and control systems are integrated into one compact unit which contains all control elements and the piping work is limited to laying the main supply to the cylinder unit, the emergency air reservoir and the bolting cylinder only.
The cylinder units of the A60 and the SWT sliding doors have been specially developed for the unique requirements of both car and passenger decks. The doors can be opened by handle or by a touch-safety-rail, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times. If required, the doors can also be opened by push buttons on both sides. In addition, a solenoid valve has been integrated into the cylinder unit to allow the door to be opened permanently.

FOR SLIDING FIRE PROTECTION DOORS.
THE COMPACT UNIT ECS 2000 ACCORDING TO SOLAS KAP. II-2/30
ECS 2000, the new electric door drive system is the culmination of extensive research and development along with many years experience in fire security on board passenger vessels.
To meet the exceptionally high standards of cruise ship fire safety regulations, our engineers have incorporated the extensive installation, weight and service recommendations of naval operators and ship builders into the design of the ECS 2000.
In addition to paying careful regard to the safety components of this electric door drive system, we have also achieved minimum size and low weight solutions for its operational features. Naturally, ECS 2000 is compliant with the most rigorous safety regulations, according to the latest IMO and SOLAS Regulation II-2/30 and II-1/15 FTP Code MSC.61(67).
Type approvals available due to EMV-Tests, Vibration Tests, Humidity Test and Climatic Tests (-25°C and 70°C).
