The bow thruster joystick is a lever used to control a vessel's bow thrusters. Some vessels with more than one bow thruster have two joysticks.

Applications

The bow thruster joystick controls the power and rotational direction of bow thrusters in order to push the vessel to one side or the other, especially during docking and undocking maneuvers.

Technologies

The bow thruster joystick is a lever whose lateral movements are limited. These movements transmit control signals to the bow thruster motors.
