With the SC-110, a ship's heading is determined by decoding the phase data in the GPS carrier frequency. In principle, a pair of antennas A1(ref) and A2(fore), each connected with an associated GPS engine and processor, are installed along the ship's fore-aft line. The GPS systems at A1 and A2 calculate the range and azimuth to the satellite.
Characteristics
- Provides highly accurate heading data for autopilot, radar, AIS, Sonar and plotting systems
- IMO MSC.116(73) type approved as a verified THD (Transmitting Heading Device) with high accurate +/-0.6 degree
- Rapid 45 degree/s follow-up rate greatly exceeds IMO High Speed Craft requirements 20 degree/s
- High accurate GPS, WAAS Data _ SOG, COG, ROT, and L/L
- High Contrast 4.5" Silver Bright LCD
- Precision Pitch/Roll Data in Analog and Digital formats for vessel stabilizers, sonar, etc.
- Multiple High Speed Heading Data Output in IEC 61162-1/2 (NMEA0183/HS)
- 100% free of yearly or regular maintenance _ No Recurring Costs
- Unique Tri-Antenna System improves system accuracy and reduces the effects of yaw, pitch and roll |

The new technology JLR-10 is a type of compass which uses GPS signals to produce the ship's heading information.
The compass consists of an antenna unit , processing unit and display unit. Connection to JRC Radar models JMA-3800 and JMA-3900 series can be fully operable in both the North Up and ARPA or ATA function. |
|
JRC original 2 antenna type
The JLR-10 adopts 2 antenna type which is superior in the direction accuracy, availability and easy installation. |

Accurate positioning: In addition to standard GPS and compensation via beacons, you can also access high precision positioning data via SBAS (WAAS / EGNOS), even when out of range of beacons. This sensor can be connected to the GTD-110/150 chart plotter, the CVG-80/200 plotter sounder or the K-Link System to enable precision DGPS navigation. The increasingly precise positioning data will help you improve safety at sea and locate fishing spots.
18-channel reception: This sensor incorporates a parallel 18-channel receiver to enable fast, accurate positioning.
Automatic station selection: This sensor contains data on every beacon station around the world, enabling it to automatically select the best beacon station at all times. |
