Small traditional cruiser, BENIGUET offers a real habitability. To the two large adult berths, forming a comfortable square, a short berth is added before or one or two child can sleep. Many filing spaces, the possibility of installing a stove, a table of square, Chemical toilets, make it possible to consider a true program of small cruising for a couple or a small family.
Side navigation, gréement the houari, very simple in navigation, is manoeuvrable as a recluse. The drum of jib makes it possible to establish this one of the cockpit. The out-board motor in puit ensures of an excellent functionality the engine. Ballasted well in the keel, BENIGUET offers a stability and a stiffness to the very satisfactory fabric. Its swivelling center-board, that one raises thanks to a very geared down hoist, is gone up easily. The draft is then remarkably weak. The cockpit car-bouncer is as much a safety in navigation that a facility for the maintenance of the boat.

Méaban is a pleasure boat traditional transportable on trailer and easy to launch starting from a tilted hold.
Its hull in form is out of plywood wood moulded on a whole of transverse and longitudinal partitions overlapping the ones in the others which form a very rigid structure.
The salmon-ballast and the center-board swivelling under the cockpit make it possible to reconcile the advantage of the sailing dinghy quasiintégral without the obstruction of a well of center-board in the cabin.
A well in the pin of the saffron makes it possible to use in a practical and effective way a short tree out-board motor.

The Enavigo Cutter%u2019s long keel acts as the backbone of the boat, giving it the extra strength and directional stability that is vital for withstanding extreme sea conditions. This design allows for easy navigation and an outstandingly comfortable journey by keeping the yacht straight and therefore stable on waves. A long keel is also more efficient in tidal conditions, as its weight, carried longitudinally, allows for a shallower draft. In the open ocean, long keels will gently ride up a semi-submerged container as there is no fin keel to be snapped off.

Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters have a long and illustrious history. During their working lives they were the byword for ruggedness and sailing ability in all weathers. They often spent weeks at sea short handed, in some of the most challenging waters of the world. More recently as private yachts they have been used by intrepid adventures such as H.W. Tillman to explore the polar oceans.
It is these well-known qualities that attracted Dave Cockwell to build a replica of one such boat. Our Pilot Cutter has been built on the lines of 'Peggy', a boat that Dave and most of the work force have sailed on and admired for many years. She is 45 foot on deck with a draft of 7'6". Our replica is being built in the exactly the same way and to the same scantling as the original.

Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter 48'~ Merlin
Merlin is based on the lines of the original Pilot Cutter Peggy but is 3 foot longer, giving a bigger saloon and space for a workshop.
Merlin was launched in early November and has now had the mast stepped. She will be undergoing sea trials in the near future.
Merlin’s owner will be using her for corporate and private charter, wildlife expeditions and some charitable work. They plan to be based in the UK with trips to Brittany, the Baltic and further afield for some specific expeditions.

Ergonomics meets economics. The new Series 8 Integral Backstay Adjuster incorporates several key design improvements. The pressure gauge is positioned prominently, enabling fast, accurate reading of tension values. A longer pump handle produces faster pumping motion and more tension per stroke, which delivers greater performance out of modern masts. The feed tube is seated into the contour of the cylinder, resulting in a more secure design and integrated look. And its cost has remained highly competitive. In testing, the Navtec Series 8 Integral enabled sailors to increase rigging tension quickly, precisely, and easily. With each stroke of the handle, rake increased along with forestay tension, resulting in improved roller furling gear performance, sail shape, windward performance, and speed. Use of the specifically designed Integral toggle is strongly recommended.

The award-winning RigTune Pro rig tension gauge lets sailors fine-tune rigging with digital precision to the nearest kilogram, eliminating inaccurate spring-loaded gauges and conversion tables. The RigTune Pro works by deflecting the rigging over three pins on the back of the gauge. A load cell records the pressure on one of the pins and displays the measurement on an easy-to-read screen. Sailors can record their fastest settings and reproduce them for each regatta with dependable repeatability.
