Old and classical Yachts
SOLIMAR started producing fittings for traditional yachts over twenty years ago. Blocks and accessories in ash wood and alumium bronze for traditional yachts and in tufnol, bronze and stainless steel for classical boats.
Among the many old and classic boats re-fitted with Solimar blocks and fittings : Creole, Puritan, Pacha, Tomahawk, Black Swan, Mariette, Te Vega, Invader,Yali, Magda XIII, Kipawa, Delfino etc... . Our latest fitting out has done for the boat El Bougaz (65 mt.).

Classic ANDERSEN Winches© are fitted worldwide as standard on Dragon, H-boats and Folkboats. These winches have become a legend in their class, and can be used on any yacht of up to 2 tons' displacement.
Classic ANDERSEN Winches - except for model 28STU - have one gear and can be operated as either a bottom-action winch or an under-deck version with various shaft lengths. Please refer to table to make the correct choice.
A feature of the classic single-speed winch is that the handle can be pumped. On this type of winch, the handle is included in the price - except for the model 28STU. What's more all handles can be purchased separately.
The ANDERSEN Classic Range© also offers a choice of under-deck self-tailing winches, particularly suitable for yachts with open cockpits.

LIROS ClassTech is available in large diameters for super yacht classic sailors. It's light weight makes it suitable even for larger classic yachts. LIROS ClassTech is available in a lot different sizes for all ambitious sailors on classic boats.

Appearance like hemp, however it is softer and has better weather resistance, carries heavier loads while quality stays the same, UV-resistant.
