Designed in collaboration with Fairlie Restorations in England, the Fairlie winch was first fitted on the Mariquita, which had just been restored there. Famous classics such as Orion, Lulworth and Sumerun have followed suit. In the footsteps of the Classic Masterpieces, the Fairlie line has now been expanded to a complete range of winches for yachts of all sizes.
Meissner® Classic Masterpieces are exceptional winches for exceptional yachts. Made of an unique bronze composition, which glows with a beautiful deep reddish finish, they honour the bygone days of sail. On request we also provide gold plated or stainless steel drums.
Classic ANDERSEN Winches - except for model 28STU - have one gear and can be operated as either a bottom-action winch or an under-deck version with various shaft lengths. Please refer to table to make the correct choice.
A feature of the classic single-speed winch is that the handle can be pumped. On this type of winch, the handle is included in the price - except for the model 28STU. What's more all handles can be purchased separately.
