Collars on the shanks of the bolt whilst adding to the appearance also allows the nuts to be fully hardened up and help dissipate water seepage. For stronger anchorage points, we advise the additional stainless steel backing plates. The popular economy range of 'U' bolts are manufactured from Stainless Steel type 304 and have crimped ears.

Die-cast ZAMAK eye with chrome finish and plated steel shank. Cadmium plated nuts and washers are included. Inside eye diameter: 1". Maximum straight axis pull weight: 2,500 lbs. WARNING: Not for side loading or transom mounting. Do not use single shank bow eyes for lifting.
