Washing your client's boat down after a boat has been used is fast becoming an integral part of the boat storage process. Clients are quickly recognizing the importance of washing down their boat in addition to rinsing out the boats engines. AMT offers sophisticated semi or fully automated boat wash down systems that utilize photo eye sensors in conjunction with high powered spray systems (not unlike many seen in car washes today.) The boat wash then cleans off fresh/salt water and dirty residue. All the water used is then recycled using sophisticated water treatment systems.

The water, pushed by one or more piston pumps, circulates through the coil that represents the heated surface, licked on the outside by the combustion products. As a result of the characteristics of the construction, regulations an safety devices, GMT Steam Generators provide absolute safety from working- and accident prevention points of view. GMT Steam Generators represent the best solution whenever lowest cost, maximum power in limited space, the highest working pressure, the maximum efficiency (90%) or fully automatic functioning is required. Compact and space saving lube oil filters for full flow filtering lubricating oils in truck piston and crosshead engines.
Alfa Laval automatic lube oil filter systems are designed specifically for full-flow filtering of the lubricating oils used in trunk piston and crosshead engines. This extremely effective filtering prevents contaminants from entering sensitive parts of the engine, thus reducing engine wear and boosting durability. The compact, space-saving design makes them easy to install and to retrofit as upgrades to existing installations.
There are three main types of Alfa Laval lube oil filter, all with an automatic backflushing system. The X type is designed for use with crosshead engines, the T type for use with trunk piston engines and the CCU (Combined Cleaning Unit) type for use with trunk piston engines of up to 5,000 kW in capacity.

The product (i.e. oily water) is sucked up from the oily water tank or engine room bilge and fed by the feed pump through the filter and preheater via the feed valve to the separator. During the start-up or ejection program it is led back into the oily water tank. The product flows from above into the centre of the separator bowl. The heavy water phase is separated from the finest oil particles and then conveyed under pressure by a centripetal pump to the discharge.
The separated impurities accumulated in the sludge space are discharged into the sludge tank periodically. The clean water discharge is supervised by an oil monitor and discharged into the environment. If the oil content exceeds 15 or 5 ppm the water is recirculated into the oily water tank. An intelligent process control adapts the capacity of the system to the changes of the product.
