Compact, special purpose reel winches developed for hauling the running backstay forward. The 1500 version can be used as a davit winch.
Built from anodised aluminium and hydraulically driven, the runner controlline winches can store 27 metres of 12 mm rope in several layers. They are virtually maintenance free and have an exceptionally low noise level.
When paying out the rope the RCW can replace a feeder if the running backstay tackle is served by a reel winch. When reeling in the rope on the reel winch, the RCW is activated just before the reel winch starts, and stops slightly later than the reel winch. A PLC or relay control may be used to activate the hydraulic functions in the correct sequence and on time.

Maxwell caters for the stern of the Superyacht with a full range of stern handling capstans. Mooring a vessel in the confines of a marina can be a daunting task made simpler by using stern handling capstans. Maxwell's well proportioned capstans give the operator full control of mooring lines.
|
|
|
Maxwell's HWC windlasses offer a hydraulically powered, totally above deck anchoring solution. The chainwheel can be operated separately by the simple release of the clutch cones, allowing smooth and safe control during a free-fall operation. For rope handling the capstans can be operated independently of the chainwheels.
|
|
|
All Maxwell vertical series windlasses combine modern, compact design with rugged dependability. Bolt on installation is simplified by the modular design which guarantees precise alignment of gearbox, shaft and above deck components. The warping capstan can be operated independently. Band brake design allows smooth and safe control during free-fall operation.

Lewmar launches its new heavy lift Lloyd's Approved V10 and V12 windlass range at METS this November. Designed for true super yacht appeal, the deck units are constructed from 316 stainless steel, with drums featuring Lewmar's W.A.R.P (Wear and Abrasion Resistant Pattern).
The windlasses centre shaft has a support structure built to provide the ultimate in strength to withstand high loads on vessels up to 160 feet (49m).
The V10 and V12 windlass gypsies are driven by a solid dog-drive that can easily be disconnected for controlled anchor descent via a band brake. The band brake can be operated with a winch handle or remotely via two choices of hand wheel.

The FAST® LX-Series System was designed as an economical modular system for harbor tugs and other small commercial vessels. Its lightweight DOT certified tank design has all of the larger FAST Systems%u2019 reliability engineered into this new smaller system. The LX-Series requires no special training or expensive spare parts. The best part of all, it requires no manual cleaning.
The FAST LX-Series System handles intermittent loads. This means that whether the vessel has a full crew or whether the vessel is in port with little or no crew, the FAST System self-regulates. It handles surges, overloads and light loads without problems. It can also handle any combination of fresh water or seawater sewage. In fact, FAST Systems do this better than any other biological treatment system.
Fully certified by the US Coast Guard under 33 CFR Part 159 and IMO rules, FAST was originally developed for marine service. Today, FAST can be found around the globe in offshore, municipal, industrial, commercial and residential applications. The reason for FAST's success is its ability to provide years of reliable trouble-free service without adjustments or the need for a skilled operator.
Also, FAST is already capable of meeting the next generation of sewage regulations. This protects you from changes in the regulations or from individual foreign or local regulations which exceed minimum USCG certification requirements.

The M-Series and MX-Series were designed specifically for installation where space and access for installation are limited. Both the M-Series and MX-Series require no special training or expensive spare parts. The best part of all, they requires no manual cleaning.

The MEMROD®-Process is a bioreactor with high biomass concentration. Submerged membrane filtration guarantees a pure effluent without any suspended solids and without the requirement of disinfection.
MEMROD® permits both black and grey wastewater as well as galley wastewater to be treated in a single reactor system. The effluent levels are better than the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation (MARPOL, Annex IV) and both the future
standards MEPC.159 (55) and the USCG/Alaska-Rules.
Advantages at a Glance
Compact, packaged system
Highest effluent quality
For black, grey as well as galley wastewater
No disinfection necessary
High sludge age leading to highly effective BOD5 and nitrogen degradation
Extremely low excess sludge production
Zero suspended solids in effluent
Safe for crew and ship / No chemicals required
Very low energy consumption
Fully automatic, with low maintenance and operating costs
No odour emissions thanks to effective odour control
Stable cleaning efficiency, even with varying inflow conditions

Benefiting from a 2005 control system redesign the R200 fits perfectly into the Max Powers product range.
At the very top end of the full production boat, this unit has long been used in the 55’/65’ yachts of prestigious builders.
|
|
Newly redesigned, the R300 now benefits from evolutions already pioneered on the R450 such as the gas spring closing mechanism and silent block door mounts.
Both light & powerful this unit has been consistently specified by designers worldwide for many years.
|
|
Light & robust this thruster unit has been designed specifically for performance yachts, both sail & motor.
With positive locking and a unique gas spring lifting system, the R450 can withstand the pounding that offshore performance boats endure.
|
|
An ingenious design makes this thruster the lightest and arguably the safest 100HP thruster available.
With a locking system, aircraft derived cargo doors and thrust transfer pads to transmit load to the hull, performance is first & foremost with this unit.
|
|
The largest and most powerful model in the Max Power electric tunnel thruster range, the CT300 is suitable for motor yachts and deep footed sailing yachts from 52’ up to 90’.
Designed for use with the popular 300mm tunnel diamter, this electric tunnel thruster is a direct replacement for older less powerful units.

The Night Navigator3 camera system is equipped with
1. High Resolution Thermal Imager
2. Gated Image Intensified Night Vision Camera
3. High Definition Day Camera
The two axis stabilized gimbal is designed for marine environment and
controlled from the bridge.
Each camera provides the clearest image available on the private marine market today. At any point in time, there are 2 live video feeds visible simultaneously on a split screen monitor.
|
|
The Night Navigator1 camera system is our newest and smallest system with only 15 cm diameter. It is equipped with a high resolution Un-Cooled thermal imager in a compact, extreme weather resistant pan & tilt gimbal. The Night Navigator1 provides sharp vision from broad daylight to the complete darkness.
The 2 times and 4 times electronic zoom allows the captain to zoom in on potential obstacles or danger. The system is also a tool for security and surveillance and man overboard rescue support as the thermal imager analyses the heat difference between objects (body, motor, scenery, objects in the water, movements of the water, …).
|
|
Pleasure Craft & Yachts
Thermal imagers are very effective in maritime environments. They can detect objects floating in the water which may damage a vessel, or even worse, sink it. Other vessels, shipping lane traffic, buoys, bridges, ... it is all seamlessly detected by thermal imaging. Even objects which can not be detected by a radar system such as sail boats, wooden boats, floating debris, ... become clearly visible when you are using a thermal imager.
