Contained in a single enclosure, the Farallon series is more compact than its traditional predecessors, with the option of mounting the membranes and electrical control box directly on the unit or remotely. With the centralized plumbing manifold and limited wiring connections, installation is easier and faster. The Farallon features the revolutionary new “Spectra Pearson Pump™” technology coupled to a completely enclosed, fan cooled, commercial grade motor and control system. It’s ideal for installation in limited spaces on cruising and racing vessels. The exclusive Spectra High-Pressure Intensifier maintains the proper pressures in the membrane throughout a wide range of temperatures and water conditions without any adjustments or loss of product water output. Spectra Watermakers Inc. introduces a final solution to the problem of Watermachines storage with the revolutionary Z-Brane™. This technology is designed to change the way Watermachines are used and maintained forever by eliminating the need for chemicals to clean and store membranes.
Using the proven Z-Guard™ technology, Spectra now is applying it directly to the watermachine membrane to prevent scaling and biological fouling, the principle cause of membrane failure in reverse osmosis systems. Fouling has been labeled as unavoidable by many sources. The origin of fouling varies and can be mineral, biological or a combination of both.
Bio-film is the slick coating or slime found on wetted surfaces produced by many types of microbes. A thin layer of bio-film usually coats the interior of piping, filters and membranes when exposed to water. This bio-film provides both habitat and food supply for a range of bacteria and scale forming compounds. Bio-film is the cause of odors and discoloration in pre-filters and storage tanks. The Z-Brane™ will eliminate conditions that foster bio-fouling and scaling.

The highly efficient epoxy and polyurethane coated, totally enclosed capacitor-start-capacitor-run motors are designed for continuous duty under tropical conditions.

With the release of the new 12 / 24 Volt DC
Watermaker 200-DML-1, a break through in efficiency for desalination systems, utilizing triplex ceramic plunger pumps was achieved.
Triplex plunger pumps are known to be the most reliable high pressure pumps available on today's market. The ECHOTec. pump is a low revolution (570 RPM) 316 Ti (Titanium) stainless steel version, driven by a highly efficient permanent magnet motor, designed for continuous duty under tropical conditions.
No low reliable and service intensive energy recovery pumps or irreparable electronic circuits that can stall the entire system are used on any ECHOTec.Watermaker.
