The new A12 Pro from OceanLED raises the bar yet again for all underwater lighting on the market. The original Amphibian range, (A3, A6 and A12) were designed with the specific purpose of running in and out of water, however with the singular purpose of being used underwater the power can be substantially turned up as the water cooling is consistent. In doing this the A12 becomes almost 75% brighter than a standard A12 which means it will out perform any competing LED underwater light on the market but more importantly rival any 50 watt Xenon bulb style underwater light.
Issued with an exclusive Gun-Metal colored insert the A12 still holds all the normal characteristics of the standard A12 such as thermal protection, Tritonium lens protection, 40,000 hour life and with only a slight increase in power draw. Powered on 12vDC the A12 Pro uses only 1.8 amps and on 24vDC a mere 0.9 amps, which when compared to a xenon bulb at over an 8 amp current draw, the advantages are clear.

The F-1 series offers a revolutionary new concept for underwater lighting for Super Yachts.
Achieving upto 25 degree hull angling within the fixture itself, it eliminates the need for massively long cofferdams, which improves Lamina flow and therefore fuel economy and ultimately speed whilst saving huge space inboard.
Being an LED powered unit (i.e. low maintenance) results in new thinking on yacht design. Old problems of access to 'traditional' underwater lights to change bulbs/service are now no longer as big a problem.
The F-1 Series is the most technically advanced underwater light every created. The unique 3 part delivery system offered by OceanLED ensures the very latest LED technology is utilized when the yacht is ready for launch.
Stage 1 - The Cofferdam assembly is delivered for the hot work (welding) to be completed.
Stage 2 - The electronics and cabling are supplied when needed.

The OceanLED Puck Light fixture is designed to be used in Steel, Aluminium or Fibreglass hulls.
Cofferdams - We recommend tube for the Cofferdam walls to be sourced by the shipyard during installation to save on freight costs. OceanLED then supplies a Welding Back Plate which affixes to the tube creating the final Cofferdam for the light to be mounted.
Alternatively full cofferdams can be supplied.
For fibreglass hulls the follows along the same principal design where a molded pocket in the Fiberglass hull allows water to flow in and around the LED light enabling sufficient cooling.
If a General Arranagement (GA) can be supplied, our design department can assist in cofferdam design for maximum cost efficiency.

The OceanLED Puck Light fixture can be used in Steel, Aluminum or Fiberglass hulls.
We recommend that the shipyard source the tube for the Cofferdams during the early stages of the construction to save on freight costs. OceanLED can then supply a Welding Back Plate which affixes to the tube to create the finished Cofferdam into which the Puck Light is to be mounted. Alternatively, full cofferdams can be supplied direct from OceanLED.
For fiberglass hulls the design follows the same principal where a moulded pocket in the Fiberglass hull allows water to flow around the LED light enabling sufficient cooling.
OceanLED’s Puck Light is approved by Lloyds register, RINA, ABS and NMMA Ignition Protection.
