FLASH LED
The heart of the Flash flashlight is a revolutionary LED made up of 4 elements, grouped together in a single PCB, protected by a lenticular dome face in silicon.
The result is a flashlight with an illumination capacity above 6000 Lux with a heat temperature of 6200º Kelvin.
The LED is driven by special electronics that guarantee lighting consistency over time.
This is all assembled on an aluminium frame and sealed with a special resin that makes the LED group (LED, electronics and parabola) perfectly water-tight.
In fact, if the flashlight accidentally flashlight fills with water, the LED group will not be damaged and, after rinsing with fresh water, and drying, it can be used as if it were new. In this case, only the batteries are damaged and must be replaced.
The recall spring can be removed so the flashlight can be kept in the On position, and the switch can be then held in this position thanks to the special safety catch.
The Flashlight is powered by 6 AA 1.5V batteries, Energizer Lithium are supplied with the flashlight, that allow for a range of 120 minutes of constant use and 300 minutes of intermittent use with 60 seconds ON/60 seconds OFF.
Size: Length 195mm x Diameter 59mm Weight in air with 6 Lithium batteries = 390g.
Weight in water with 6 Lithium batteries = 230g.

Low cost - not low quality – LED underwater lighting from the industry leader.
Amphibians are the worlds first lighting collection designed to be used in or out of water. This new tough range was created firstly to satisfy the increasing demand for - high quality, - low cost - underwater lighting for smaller craft and secondly to counter the growing imports of cheap and ineffective LED underwater lighting, as we have always believed that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price.
All Amphibians utilize the latest ultra high output LED’s, have internal drivers for 12 or 12/24vDC usage, require a very low power draw with no start-up current and need a mere 8mm (5/16th) hole cut out for the cable. Utilizing unique OceanLED tritonium lensing with high tech injection moulded polymer casings resistant to all known solvents and adhesives, Amphibians are quick and simple to fit and are covered by OceanLED’s 2 year warranty. The Amphibians are exceptionally easy to install and can be used anywhere, such as;
• Transoms
• Engine Brackets
• Under the gunnels
• Trim tabs
• T-Tops
• Boat trailers for night launching.
• ROVs
• Tail gates
The A3, A6 and A12 are all now readily available in the USA, and other parts of the world, check with your local representative for details.
If its worth lighting up, then it deserves to be lit by OceanLED

The coolest-running deep-rated LED light in the world has been developed by top ROV manufacturer, Saab Seaeye.
The super-intensity low power light comes with a unique design of thermal control that avoids failure through overheating. No other LED light has this capability.
Telemetry or PWM controlled, it monitors its status and gives data feed-back on current, input supply voltage, LED voltage, LED temperature and light output percentage, so is ideal for providing data for the diagnostic capability of the new generation of control systems. The LED light brightness can be controlled over its full range of brightness and retains a constant colour temperature over the range compared with tungsten halogen, which varies considerably when dimmed.
Rated at 6000 metres, the new LED light joins Saab Seaeye's 3000 metre rated technologically advanced range of LED lights especially developed to bring extra reliability, low power consumption and greater luminosity to underwater systems.
This means that in addition to bringing greater luminosity performance to ROV operations, underwater system developers worldwide can incorporate this range in other underwater equipment designs such as diver equipment, as it has a universal power interface that can take a wider range of power options than any other LED light. A mounting arrangement to provide horizontal and vertical adjustment of the light position is also provided.
Dave McInnes, Saab Seaeye's electronic design engineer behind the concept, says the new LEDs are far superior to both halogen and incandescent lamps.
'They use a quarter of the power, have a life of over 50,000 hours compared to 1000 hours for halogen and give higher luminosity than a 150 watt bulb - with a daylight white for more accurate colour rendering of video images than the typical 'yellow light'. Important too, adds McInnes, is they are more robust than other lighting systems.
The new range of LED lights is being fitted to all Saab Seaeye ROV systems. The Company is the largest electric ROV manufacturer in the world, supplying systems to the oil and gas industry, defence forces, marine science and hydro engineering. Its parent company, Saab Underwater Systems, is itself a world leader in sensor systems, precision engagement systems, and remotely operated and autonomous underwater vehicles.
