TRAC Integrated Hydraulic Systems are used to support TRAC Thrusters, TRAC Marine Stabilizers and ride control products as well as third party hydraulic devices such as capstans, windlasses, cranes, generators, bilge pumps etc. Arcturus Marine, manufacturer of TRAC products, evaluates each boat application individually and configures the integrated hydraulic system to meet the specific needs of your yacht.
ABT.TRAC typically uses quiet, high efficiency hydraulic piston pumps.
TRAC hydraulic pumps are driven from the front of main engines or generators or from specialized PTO's (power take-offs) that have become more widely available on main engines, the marine gear, or generator.

Hydraulic drive unit with non-reversible motor but with electric magnetic valves and adjustable flow. A built in reservoir ensures quick response. The adjustable flow enables accurate tuning between the vessels steering characteristics and the autopilot control. Suitable for bigger yachts and professional vessels.

The pumps (in STAINLESS STEEL too) are based on the geometry and properties of the cycloid. In fact, they are lobe pumps (or internal gear pumps). All of the main components are made of sintered materials. In the development of these two types of technology, we have given an emphasis to high performance in terms of capacity and pressure in proportion to the pump size (owing to the reduction in unused volume), as well as to duration and lower noise level (owing to the porosity offered by the powder metallurgy).
Self-lubrication is another important property intrinsic to every model of this product, and it is a guarantee against buckling.

No more unprotected hydraulic hoses on the stern. By running the hydraulic hoses through the cylinders we have reduced the risk of hose damage, and there are two less holes to make through the stern bulkhead. In addition, installation is much simpler. Also new is the incorporation of a trim indicator in each cylinder, and this is supplied as standard.
The cylinder kit with built-in indicator will give you full control of the boat's attitude in the water. More powerful cylinders mean that only one per trim tab is required for boats up to 40 feet.
The cables from the indicators are run to a connector box and then to the indicator instrument. There is only one cable from the connector box, which makes connection easier.

Simplicity of design with only one shaft and direct drive produces robust, long-lasting vacuum pumps with low maintenance and running costs. These vacuum pumps operate completely oil-free; the individual chambers are separated by long-life vanes. Already featuring integrated intake filters and control valves, these vacuum pumps can be fitted with other accessories without a problem. The compact cover ensures low noise and heat emission. Optional corrosion protection also makes these vacuum pumps suitable for extracting moist air.

Simplicity of design with only one shaft and direct drive produces robust, long-lasting vacuum pumps with low maintenance and running costs. The vanes are sealed by the metered supply of oil. Already equipped with integrated non-return valves and an efficient oil Separation system, these vacuum pumps can be fitted with other accessories without a problem. The standard-featured circulating-oil lubrication System with integrated oil cooler and cover additionally minimise noise emission. Controlled by a float valve, the oil return suction system also makes these vacuum pumps suitable for use in rough-vacuum applications. Optional water cooling significantly prolongs the life of the oil, even in difficult ambient conditions.

Driven directly by an integrated frequency inverter, these pumps no longer require any drive transmission. The area in which the units work is 100% oil-free. The integrated speed governor optimises the use of energy by matching delivery to actual demand. This creates high efficiency levels and minimises energy consumption. Suction air remains pulsation-free all of the time. Various accessories, such as intake filter, non-return valve, sound absorbers as well as the air delivery and discharge system, are integrated in the completely soundproof cover structure.

The VADS 1500 is a direct drive, air-cooled, rotary screw unit housed in a sound enclosure. Because it is directly driven, there are no gear boxes needed to control the rotational speed. Due to the variable frequency controller, the pump operates over a wide range of speeds. This allows you to operate today at the lower frequency, and at a higher frequency tomorrow when your plant gets expanded, or you add equipment. If your load varies, so does the speed of the pump to maintain the proper flow or pressure.

Direct drive - No drive transmission

Using "multi-stage" compression, side channel vacuum pumps generate low-pulsation suction air. Perfected impeller design with curved blades guarantees Optimum efficiency. Separation of the compression chambers on both sides of the impeller permits single-stage, twin-flow as well as two-stage, single-flow operation with only one impeller. Vacuum filter and vacuum safety valve can be integrated as an optional extra in the patented design of the sound absorbers. The sound absorbers can be varied in length, affording flexible adjustment to available installation space.

VADS is the first direct-drive dry-running screw. With integrated speed controlling for demand-oriented applications and no need for a drive transmission, VADS is truly a Becker innovation! This unit is able to fulfil the highest requirements for a wide range of applications. By entering the load and output into your customer system, the air supply system automatically and directly adapts to the given requirements. The frequency-controlled drive unit offers a wide control range with optimised demand matching. In addition to energy savings and higher efficiency, this also results in lower maintenance requirements. The non-contact, oil-free screw unit ensures high air flows with low pulsation and lends itself to "master/slave" operation. Integrated accessories include a non-return valve, intake filter, sound absorbers and ventilation/bleed system. An air blast cooler is also available.
