New - Virtual sailing never was so realistic before !
Stentec proudly presents Sail Simulator 5.
Developed with the latest DirectX simulation technology to create an exceptionally realistic sailing experience: Beautiful 3D graphics and impressing physics. Now you realy feel like sailing.
Fleet: Stentec laser, Olympic 470, Dutch Valk Class (6m), 40 feet Keel yacht, Bavaria 36 and Volvo Open 70.
Sailing areas: Scheveningen near The Hague (regatta center), Cabrera Islands near Mallorca, Tropical Hoh Hong in Thailand and Treasure Island.
Open multiplayer session for repeating or organized racing and free sailing.
NMEA output for navigation software training by coupling your PC with Bluetooth to your navigation laoptop, or simply on the same PC.

The output of SailPack is a list of sail panels and reinforcement panels which is exported using specialized software: MIB2000
Through MIB2000 the designer is able to modify (flip, rename, rotate, split) each individual panel as necessary. MIB2000 is able to export in all major plotter formats or exchange formats such as HPGL or DXF.
|
|
The goal of the SailPack software is to simplify and reduce the time requirement of sail design and production.
Through the use of SailPack the user is able to create a realistic simulation of any number of possible rigging configurations (mast, pole, gaff, etc.). SailPack then builds on the position of deck fittings, including track and blocks, as specific to the yacht.
With SailPack the designer will be able to recreate and duplicate a realistic sail plan, specific to the hardware and rigging of the yacht. The designer can visualize any potential conflict or incompatibility between sail placement and rigging setup, allowing for modification and optimization of final sail geometry.
In addition the sail designer can "hoist" and view a complete sail inventory.
|
|
With SailPack-Viewer you can create a single file (PPK) with all the sails and rig together in an active 3D view. Your customer will be able to see, from any point of view and with multiple options of rendering (geometry, mould aspect, paneling and/or full description with finishing details), his/her personally designed sail. This presentation could be made available by CD or sent by email.

SailPack-Aero is a comparative tool. Through SailPack-Aero you will be able to enlarge, with rationality, your field of investigation and will then be able to optimize your library of molds.
Through SailPack-Aero you can accurately visualize the phenomenon of aerodynamic flow as it passes through the sail plan.
SailPack-Aero makes a simulation of the wind flow on the sail plan in 3D. The sail plan is divided into multiple interacting “slices” (each “slice” having impact on its neighboring “slice”). The resulting data, giving a 3D picture, is an integration of these calculations.
SailPack-Aero is a module of flow calculation that can be connected or worked through the information provided through the SailPack sail design software or through a “sail vision system.”

A 360° rotating hydraulic drive for sailing boats, motorized sloops, etc.
Incredible manoeuvrability (360° rotating drive annex propeller!)
No rudder required
No propeller shaft required
Quick and easy assembly
No gearbox
The engine may be positioned in any convenient place
Suitable for diesel engines of up to 30kW (40 hp)
The WillDo Rotadrive has been designed with a view to simplicity in use, optimal manoeuvrability and a minimum amount of moving components. In order to accomplish this, we have selected a hydraulic drive. The assembly consists of four main components:
1. A hydraulic pump, connected to the diesel engine which is permenantly rotating, as long as the engine is running. The flow of the hydraulic pump is controlled by changing the number of revolutions of the engine.
2. The connection between the hydraulic pump and the Rotadrive is made by means of three flexible tubes of 25, 20 and 14 mm diameter, respectively.
3. The Rotadrive is equipped with an integrated tank or, if preferred without a tank. In that case the seperate hydraulic tank could be installed in any convenient place and position.
4. The Rotadrive is controlled with the help of a touchscreen on which a windrose is projected. By means of the throttle and the good old steering wheel all control directives are transmitted to the Rotadrive and the diesel engine.

E3 (E-cubed) is a propeller that features innovative technical solutions in its shell, which are combined with the use of materials and treatments so far only applied in advanced technology fields. These innovations guarantee an absolutely superior resistance to mechanical shocks and galvanic corrosion, by no means comparable to the performances of common feathering, folding or solid blade propellers.
Thorough studies and tests have been carried out over several years for the development of the project, allowing to obtain an extremely reliable product in a particularly slim body.
All this guarantees a long endurance propeller with a wide range of applications, making E3 suitable for all race and cruise sailing boats.
The adopted solutions are in line with the latest sailing trends, always oriented towards innovative materials and technologies capable of exalting modern boats’ performances.
The feathering 3 blades propeller E3 (E-cubed) is available either for shaft-drive and S-Drive.
E3 is built completely with high-strength and high corrosion resistance stainless steels and has a micrometric pitch-setting device allowing to set the most appropriate pitch from the outside.
E3 doesn't require disassemblage of its parts in order to be installed or removed and doesn't require any hub puller, therefore it can be installed in few minutes easily even underwater.

An innovative new propeller for sailing yachts ...
The Kiwiprop™ is a unique cost effective feathering propeller that eliminates gears, aligns the blades with the streamlines not the shaft, minimises corrosion potential from the lightweight composite blades and offers users easy variable pitch adjustment. In the Kiwiprop™ the individual blades are always free to "weather vane" in the actual water flow, to a minimum drag position so don't cause autorotation.
This modern light weight three bladed feathering propeller has proved much smoother and quieter in operation than equivalent two bladed units and offers the additional benefits of variable pitch, fully lubricated, minimal corrosion potential and the full reverse thrust.
|
|
With the world wide acceptance and use of sail drive units, Max-Prop has succesfully developed and consolidated since many years, a three blade propeller for this type of application.
The three blade classic Max-Prop sail drive propeller is extremely compact and dynamic, with a spinner of reduced dimensions, when placed in a feathering position offers an extremely derisive drag.
|
|
|
The user will experience the same advantages as a Classic max-prop, low drag superior forward propulsion and unsurpassed reverse power. Adaptable to all the Sail- Drive units.

A BUKH saildrive distinguishes itself from others in a number of important features. Instead of just one rubber diaphragm to keep the water out, BUHK's saildrive is equipped with a very strong double diaphragm which ensures total safety. A sensing element has been installed between the diaphragm which releases an audible alarm at the slightest indication of water penetration. This provides all the security you will ever need. All materials - including bolts and diaphragm flanges - are rustproof a and saltwater resistant. The cooling water intake, separate from the saildrive unit, ensures efficient cooling of the engine.
A newly developed multiple-disc clutch ensures smooth engagement of gears and can stand brutal shifts from forward to reverse in critical situations. The aluminium casing is resistant to saltwater. Specially cut conical gears ensure noiseless power transmission. An easily replaceable zinc anode prevents galvanic corrosion. BUKH's saildrive complies fully with I.O.R.'s regulations for saildrives.

BUKH DV 24 marine diesel with saildrive 24 effective seahorses ensure comfortable and troublefree sailing. The exceptionally low noise level makes it a pleasure to be on board. DV 24 has direct fuel injection and this means 12 to 15 per cent lower fuel consumption than the pre-combustion principle and longer life because of reduced thermal loads on the cylinder head. The cold start characteristics are also vastly improved.
