For the boats generally naviquant out of water (soft) we recommend the use of aluminum anodes, having a greater potential than other metals. This is very important, because the fresh water has a greater electrical resistance than salt water. The composition of the zinc anodes of VETUS at changed summer. They are now recommended as well for sea water as for brackish water. The aluminum anodes can completely be used for the use in sea water, or they are corroded a little more quickly We are, on the other hand, completely opposite with the magnesium anodes, the potential difference being too large with other metals. This metal would not be a long time effective in the event of brackish or salted water navigation.
Principal qualities of your control remote electronic VETUS-REXROTH:
Simple installation and guaranteed time-saver.
Very interesting alternative compared to the remote controls with push-pull cables, especially when the cables are long and/or when there are several control units.
The electric installation is much simpler than with the push-pull cables, because there is no limit in the length or the curve of the ray.
More no concern of play, inevitable of the push-pull cables (the longer they are, the more there is play).
The case of the order is completely tight.
The control sticks available colors gray are silver plated or black.

TFX engine control mechanism
Jefa steering uses the world-famous Teleflex TFX engine control mechanism. The engine control mechanism is not attached to the pedestal head but to the pedestal base. This offers the unique advantage of mounting the complete mechanism to the pedestal and the attachment of the control cables independently from the pedestal head. The pedestal head can be worked on separately in the workshop to be adapted to the customer requirements with instruments, buttons and joysticks. This concept also eases the retrofit of a mechanism, or a swap from starboard to port.
The price of the mechanism includes the internal mounting bracket and a stainless steel 316 handle.

Bamar Hydraulic Panel is a manual pump supplied with gauge, release valve and 4-function selector knob (optional), for easy and quick control.
Function selection is characterized by a “click into place” knob: an important aspect whenever the crew do not easily see the panel.
The system is provided with a big gauge with clear graphics that allows an easier and quicker pressure reading.
Moreover, it is supplied with a pressure relief valve to protect the boat’s hydraulic plant.
The pump is centred on the lower part of the panel, in order to give a better mechanical
advantage and less physical effort.
Titanium lever available on demand.
BHP is available with a single speed pump and offers a double speed auto-shift pump as an option. The latter triples the oil flow at low pressure for a quick take-up and then automatically moves to a slower speed when pressure gets to a preset level.
High flow valves and ports allow panels to be easily interfaced with any hydraulic power pack used for winches and hydraulic furlers. Oil flow supplied by the hydraulic power pack is controlled through the BHP system. Fine tuning at high pressure can be completed with the manual pump.
The single function panel can be later converted into multifunction panel with the 4 function conversion unit.

SCHOTTEL Steering and Control Systems (SST) are tailored to each individual application. The spectrum extends from simple manually operated mechanical steering wheels on the propulsion unit itself to computer-aided, remote-controlled joystick systems.
It is no longer possible to imagine this sector without microelectronics, which considerably enhances the operational reliability. With our systems, we are in a position to give every shipmaster the optimum “tool” for operating, manoeuvring and positioning his vessel safely and easily.
