Cupro-nickel Keel coolers for dedicated ND 35 CFS GR, ND 50 CFS GR, ND 30 CFS GR cooling units.
Condensation through the keel cooler provides excellent
heat exchange, with the seawater, to obtain maximum
performance with the refrigerant system.
The elimination of pumps or other electrical components,
like those used in many water cooled systems, provides
reduced power consumption and lower maintenance costs.
The hydrodynamic shape and low profile reduces friction,
while underway, and prohibits fouling by loose objects in the water.
The external installation, on the hull, allows continuous contact
between the seawater and the surface area of the exchanger,
providing optimal performance of the cooling unit – even in tropical waters.
During installation, it is recommended to avoid locating the keel cooler
inside any hull cavities that could cause any stagnation of hot water
around the exchanger and compromise the performance of the cooling unit.
Models:
keel cooled condensing system CFS115 (115 mm / 4.5 In. hull depth)
keel cooled condensing system CFS50 (50 mm / 1.9 In. hull depth)

Think about frosty-cold drinks and full course meals. No more ice to find and mess to clean up. IMAGINE! A refrigerator conversion kit for your boat for a lot less than what you paid for your VHF radio. The "LectricIceman" is the last word in state-of-the-art DC icebox conversion kits. Three high efficiency, whisper-quiet models to choose from. Whether you pick the compact model "A" or the more powerful "EVH". you will be getting the benefit of 25 years of marine refrigeration experience.

Plate evaporators are easily
installed and meet a host of
different cooling requirements,
thanks also to the possibility to
adapt them to the form of the
refrigerator compartment. When
installing, always make use of the
holes provided.
|
|
Cooling systems with boxed
evaporators are recommended
for all installations where a freezer
compartment is required.
These evaporators can be
positioned horizontally or
vertically according to
requirements and available space.

For even the most rigorously engineered products, there is no harsher test than the marine environment. Whether fresh or salt water, warm weather or cold, products designed for the marine environment are sternly tested with every nautical mile. Answering this challenge is TECHNICOLD® by Northern Lights.
An ingenious, and iron-tough solution for on-board air conditioning is TECHNICOLD®'S line of Split DX Systems. The condensing and evaporation units are packaged together into a compact, versatile workhorse. TECHNICOLD® Split DX Systems are small enough to install in an engine room, under a floor, or tucked into any convenient berth. Reverse cycle is even available when heated air is required.
The Split DX System's compressor is equipped with a fluted cupronickel counter-flow condenser, which is sea water cooled to remove heat from the refrigerant. This keeps your unit safe and condensation free without adding space or weight. Soft copper refrigerant tubing connects the Split DX System to the evaporator. A non-corrosive, non-conductive Bakelite electrical box holds the start capacitor, start relay and run capacitor, promising reliable start-up even under low voltage conditions. TECHNICOLD® Split DX Systems are available in most voltage options and on 50/60 cycle operation.

A clima chiller unit is a system which can be installed in the engine compartment. This chiller unit supplies a tubing circuit through the boat with cold or warm water (glycol). This fluid flows through the fan coil units (through which air is flowing at the same time) and as a result it can either cool down or heat up the surrounding areas. This system can control the temperature in any given compartment separately. The sum of the capacity of the fan coil units, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the clima chiller unit. The integrated diesel heater is the main source for heating the system. In order to install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete chiller system consists of the clima chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

A clima inverter chiller is a system which can be installed in the engine compartment. This chiller unit will control its capacity according to what is being demand in its surroundings due to the applied inverter compressor technology. There is no current peak when switching on the compressor! The chiller unit supplies cold/hot water (glycol) which flows through a tubing circuit and fan coil units, (through which air is pulled at the same time) and as a result it cools/heats the surrounding areas. This system can cool any given area/cabin, and the temperature and airflow can be controlled and adjusted separately. The sum of the capacity of the fan coil units, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the chiller unit. Furthermore this system is equipped with a diesel heater, heat exchanger and boiler function. The heat exchanger can be connected to the cooling system of the main engine or generator, for interior or boiler heating. The boiler function can be connected to the diesel heater or heat exchanger, and can function simultanious with the cooling function.
To install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete system consists out of the chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.
