The 2009 X1 is the next generation in the highly successful Goya Freestyle Series. The X1's target is extreme freestyle performance. The board features an increased tail bevel for reverse sliding tricks as well as an extended flat section on the deck for more direct feel through your feet. We finetuned the pop abilities of this board to a great extent. By reducing the wetted surface of its fast rocker, we achieved for the board to pop of the water like doing an ollie on a skateboard, whenever you want it. What makes this board detach more easy than others is its super light construction. Clean & sharp edges make it highly reactive to the riders pressure.

The World Champ!
The Freestyle world gets more twisted by the day. And as fast as 2 x Freestyle World Champion Gollito Estredo and Fanatic’s hottest new talent Marcilio Brawzinho” Browne come up with new tricks, our shaper Sebastian Wenzel matches their skills with design. In fact Sebastian’s never pushed his CAD Software to the max like now. Thanks to Gollito, Brawzinho and Andre Paskowski’s input, the Skate line’s leapt into a new dimension born of generations of global test winners. A big part of the Skates’ cutting edge success is its total ease of use.
For Freestyle newbies and champions alike it’s fast-planing and simple to ride. The three shapes in the all-new line-up include 100 and 110-litre sizes, plus a 90-litre model for high winds and lighter sailors in Team Edition only. The standard 100 and 110 construction is a lightweight Biax Glass construction with light finish - for the best value weight, durability and price combo.
All three Team Edition styles feature featherweight Carbon Kevlar deck and Biax Carbon bottom construction. Put simply, they’re the lightest and stiffest high-performance Freestylers we’ve ever made!
Key Developments:
- Rounder nose and slight increase of outline width
- Thinner rails between the feet for improved carving freestyle manoeuvres
- Fuller and softer rails in the nose for catch-free sliding

The new Hifly freestyle board has been completely overhauled compared to its predecessor. The flat shape with its very balanced weight distribution and the added volume let the TWINSTYLE 105 dash up to speed in no time. Holey wind? No problem - the board planes right on through. Sliding maneuvers? Child’s play for this board, thanks to the almost completely surrounding bevels. The new T 17cm fins, specially developed for freestyling, make things really radical. Less radical T 22cm fins are also supplied and are more suitable for freeriding.

These three boards represent Drops interpretation of the wave-compact concept; they have been created (or typical european wave conditions with onshore winds and small to medium waves. Hose and tail are bigger than those of traditional waveboards, the hull starts with a concave area that then turns into double concave near the tail (or early planing and stability in choppy conditions. The upwind performance is superior to a traditional waveboard's one and they can be used with an extremely wide sailrange
|
|
Two freestyle boards that will generate a lot of gossip both at lake and sea spots. The result of Drops efforts are boards with Improved planing, manoeuvrability and comfort without giving Into control In all conditions Including rough seas.
The board Is extremely easy to control during aerial manoeuvres, and therefore makes learning new tricks a lot simpler; slashed manoeuvres can be performed extremely rapidly, making It possible to perform extremely complicated tricks even at relatively low speeds.

|
The most radical wave board in Drops range, specifically designed for side/side offshore conditions. A fairly wide bow helps getting through the treacherous breakers.. The rails are thin and soft with a lot of TUE in order to get the best grip during high speed bottomtums. The edges only become sharp at 30 cm from the stern for the sake of upwind performance. The rockerline is a continuos curve with a fairly evident tail kick.

The pure wave board in the range, excellent in surf, the Techno Pro 54 is also a great strong wind board for tricky conditions, ideal for lighter weight riders.
The new Techno Pro range makes an ideal quiver for riding with top quality equipment in all kinds of conditions. Made from Epoxy Sandwich, the Techno Pro slalom boards are Marco Copello signature boards, while Pierre Bracard's name is on the wave and wave slalom boards. To create a full quiver, we chose a range of boards that each has a program particularly suited to the various wind and sea conditions that you can encounter. In light to moderate winds riders want to get up to planing fast and have great forward speed : the Techno Pro 80, 74 and 64 are pure race and slalom designs. As the wind gets up and the waves start to swell, the Techno Pro 65 and 57 come into play with their wave slalom shapes that are both fast and highly manoeuvrable. The "Tri" fin option was our obvious conception, as it makes surfing and radical sailing possible in all conditions. The concept suits everything from on shore to side shore, yet the sailors still have the option of a single fin configuration if desired.

Many top riders still favor directional single fin designs in a broad span of conditions. Our brief this season was clear. Widen the scope of turning angles without losing speed or sensation. Aggressive use from down-the-line perfection to blown-out storm waves demands a vast scale of feel and control. The three smallest models now come in 69, 76 and 83 litre sizes.
These all-new shapes are shorter and wider with fuller and softer rails for tighter turns and extreme, dependable grip. We’ve also added tail rocker and tuned the double concaves to maintain speed through any lines you choose to draw. The NewWave 91, our hardcore machine for heavier rippers and light wind addicts, rounds-up the line with an unchanged shape.
And of course, all of the 2010 NewWaves are available in high-end Team Edition versions too. This full Carbon Kevlar deck and Carbon bottom lay up both axes weight and dramatically increases stiffness and performance.
Key Features:
- Shorter, wider compact outline
- Fuller, softer rails forward of outline center featuring softer, tucked-under edge
- Tuned double concave bottom shape for speed and carving momentum
- Amplified tail rocker for tighter, faster turns
- Even volume distribution for control in both light and powered conditions

A wave board for all conditions! That’s the task our shaper Klaus Jocham placed before himself. The result: the new MADD Wave 76. The mono-concave shape throughout the bottom, allowed Klaus to distribute 76 liters volume in only 233 cm length and 56 cm width. The Carbon-Kevlar double sandwich construction with reinforcements in both nose and rails provide a very durable board for any wave or jump. The new shape allows for extremely short fins. The two Twinser fins, only 16.5 cm in length, give you a very loose feel and lots of power for blazing wave rides. MADD Wave 76 – The new dimension in the waves!
MADD WAVE 83
The HiFly MADD WAVE is the wave board for all conditions and any wave. Whether Cape Town, Hawaii or North Sea – the MADD WAVE doesn’t care where you subject it to the elements.

A number of both professional and casual sailors have shifted gears and gone for this powerful design. What has been a rarity is now the new trend. These boards allow you to finish your turns all the way, resulting in a continuous motion from the bottom turn to the off the top, going right back down the line.

Shock wave is our go to wave board. It will handle any conditions you get yourself into. From onshore waves to offshore wave sailing this board will excel.
The new shapes have a more rounded nose that makes it much easier to position the board in the bottom turn and hold it through even the toughest chop dew to that more of the rail gets into the water, The board also has a faster rocker line on it which in combination with the tail kick really helps the performance in both onshore and offshore conditions.
The bottom shape really helps easy foot steering and the transition from rail to rail.
The stance has also become wider; this makes it easier to move your body weight back and forth over the board. In the turns this really helps burry the nose in the bottom turn and then be able to unleash in the top turn's.

The 2010 Twinzer has become a more radical wave riding board. More Rocker, a more harmonious outline, little wider in the nose and then gunning out the tall together with soft rails makes it hold at any speed in the bottom turn.
The bottom shape ensures early planning while still keeping the ease to roll the board rail to rail. With again a wider stance it is a great feeling of control once you get yourself into the bottom turn and with the added rocker the board is super easy to redirect in the turns as well as unwind in the cut back so to be able to hit the wave later and harder.
For the 2010 line up this is your weapon of choice if you are looking for modern design wave riding board. It will handle side onshore to onshore conditions well but will truly excel in the surf.
