A strong demand for the boards keeps us pushing the limits.
With the input from our team, the Freestyle boards have taken on a few changes. We increased the thickness in our most popular 100 liter board.
We beefed up the rails as well as added more thickness to the tail to give you more POP for your tricks-so you will find earlier planing and more stability for the new moves.
The 110 stays the same and keeps the big guys stoked. The 80 liter board has the small guys spinning like crazy and so this year, we added a new baby to the fleet- a 90 liter brother that fills in the gap for any freestyler out there.

The Boarder X is a great ride for when you are looking to take the next step up from the Free Xs. Able to handle rougher road conditions, with a more exciting straight line speed, the Boarder Xs add a new dimension to your garage. The best of both worlds: great for racing on the track during the day, and then cruising into town for the night life, the ultimate street car. No matter what the road conditions, these rides offer strong acceleration and control, allowing you to fl y around the corners with ease. If you upgrade the tyres to something similar to the X Waves, you can even start to play on their tracks also. A great ride for doing everything.

These "Classic Waves" have balanced compact outlines, guaranteeing a traditional but aggressive output of the wave discipline. They are intended to satisfy all types of riders, for all kinds of wind conditions and for all spots. Their shape is homogeneous; they have a curved rocker line, boosted by a double concave worked under the zone of pressure. This enables them to ally tolerance, easiness to handle and performance.
The two inferior sizes (62 & 68) are intended for wilder conditions and/or average size riders, with a narrower tail (round pin tail), more V and a curvier rocker line.
The two more voluminous shapes (76 & 86) have a OFO width, more important round tail and more voluminous rails, ideal for a superior lean, in lighter/irregular wind conditions, or for riders with a more imposing body mass.

The most radical wave board in Drops range, specifically designed for side/side offshore conditions. A fairly wide bow helps getting through the treacherous breakers.. The rails are thin and soft with a lot of TUE in order to get the best grip during high speed bottomtums. The edges only become sharp at 30 cm from the stern for the sake of upwind performance. The rockerline is a continuos curve with a fairly evident tail kick.
|
|
These three boards represent Drops interpretation of the wave-compact concept; they have been created (or typical european wave conditions with onshore winds and small to medium waves. Hose and tail are bigger than those of traditional waveboards, the hull starts with a concave area that then turns into double concave near the tail (or early planing and stability in choppy conditions. The upwind performance is superior to a traditional waveboard's one and they can be used with an extremely wide sailrange

|
Two freestyle boards that will generate a lot of gossip both at lake and sea spots. The result of Drops efforts are boards with Improved planing, manoeuvrability and comfort without giving Into control In all conditions Including rough seas.
The board Is extremely easy to control during aerial manoeuvres, and therefore makes learning new tricks a lot simpler; slashed manoeuvres can be performed extremely rapidly, making It possible to perform extremely complicated tricks even at relatively low speeds.

EVERY DAY IS A WORLD CLASS SESSION ON THE ALLWAVE!
AllWave - the wave line especially designed to make you a better wavesailor! Today's reality is simply that 90% of our sailing time is not in perfect side-off conditions. With the AllWave´s you can enjoy a world class session in even average conditions like at your own local spot! For the 2009 line we have kept the same three sizes, after extensive R&D and positive magazine tests on the 2008 line, the shapes are still extremely competitive. We have however changed the construction and now offer the AllWave in two versions, both lighter than the previous model, in Custom Wood Sandwich and a Carbon Kevlar Sandwich Team Edition.

100% AUTHENTIC!
Fanatic's and Sebastian Wenzel´s reputation in Wave board design has been built over years of innovative shapes, leading to some of the most radical, yet user-friendly Wave boards ever built.
After more than 10 years of constant development of our Wave line, we have decided to let the highly tuned shapes run for 2 seasons, so the 69, 75 and 81 are the exact same shapes as the 2008 models. We have also added a new light wind machine, the NewWave 91, a no-compromise down the line board for heavier rippers and light wind addicts!
A close relationship between shaper Sebastian Wenzel and our world cup wave team ensures direct feedback. The most advanced CAD software available makes it possible to analyse all the curves that work together for perfect harmony and performance.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP STYLE, PRO OR AMATEUR ALIKE!
As the Freestyle discipline evolves, so does the event and test winning Skate. Gollito constantly pushes his Skate prototypes to the max, well on his way to his 2nd world title in 2008. Custom boards designed by Sebastian Wenzel´s CAD programme, again the authentic team rider involvement Fanatic insists on, no fake marketing here!
With riders like 2006/7 EFPT Champion Andre Paskowski on the team, using production boards full time, we need extremely competitive shapes. Yet our Skate remains an extremely easy board to ride, even for Freestyle newcomers.

Come play! The TWINSTYLE is predestined for all kinds of fun maneuvers on the water. The balanced shape and the short 22 cm TWINSER-fins, give the TWINSTYLE a very lively character.
The board will follow all your tricks, whether it’s the 360, a backwind jibe or any one of the new freestyle moves such as a Flaka, Ponch, or Chachoo. But freestyle is not all this board excels in. For pure freeride fun, we recommend a larger fin from our extensive TWINSTYLE program, which helps to stabilize the board.

There's no doubting that wave riding can be one of the most enjoyable aspects of kitesurfing, yet not every rider has the ability or the desire to commit to riding a full directional board in the surf. The Shinn Wave bridges the gap...superior to any twin tip in wave riding, the Shinn Wave will introduce you to the world of tight, carving bottom turns and snappy off the lips, without the commitment of having to gybe on every turn.
