HEAD BLINKER
The head blinker is installed at the pier head to signal its presence.
The lamp, RINA homologation, is placed at 2,5 m elevation from the deck, on the top of a hot dip galvanised steel support, aesthetically pleasant and well integrated in the overall plant. Electronic flickering and dusk switch can be provided upon request.

Huge buoys for open sea. They signal port entrances, isolated dangers in open sea, wide channels and offshore oil fields. The big floats garantee the mooring of big chains at high depth and at the same time the capability to host a high focal plane (from 3 to 6 meters). The lantern, solar powered, can reach long distances: at least 5 Nautical Miles.

Jim Buoy's all new Sombrero Buoy is designed to be used where maximum stability and buoy strength are of prime importance. With the addition of the 2" wide aluminum protection band (optional) on the top edge of the jumbo flotation base, the Sombrero Buoy can withstand jet-skis and boat crashes that might otherwise permanently damage or tip over a standard buoy.
In addition to positive, upright floatation, the large 12" high x 30" diameter base provides greater visibility because it naturally floats higher in the water! A galvanized external ballast may be ordered for some models - other ballast are internal, however (some weights may be necessary to add to the chains if a shallow condition exists).
All colors are impregnated and molded into the tough CJ-37 Rock Hard outer shell for years of rugged maintenance free service. Eye bolts and metal components are galvanized steel for greater strength and resistance to rust and corrosion.

The structural characteristics of the beacon were expressly projected with the aim of reducing current and wind drag to a minimum. The big float and exclusive Resinex anchoring system, which has the characteristic of being elastic but fixed, allows the pilon very little freedom of movement in a horizontal direction yet guaranteeing elasticity (and so automatic repositioning) in the event of collision.
For this reason the Resinex elastic beacon assures correct positioning, reliability and a signalling security impossible to match with the traditional buoys. In addition, in the case of need, it can be easily removed and repositioned. It is particularly suitable for the precision marking of navigable canals or of the presence of underwater pipelines and cables or any other obstacles which could be found below water level.

Commander Utility Helideck Lights Control System
The TEF 4500 Commander Utility Helideck Lights Control System (HLCS) is a complete control system for all helideck lights. Based upon the Commander Utility technology, this control system allows the control panel to be installed in the bridge or radio equipment room, while the enclosure with all other necessary components may be installed further away. Between the two a simple Cat 3 ++ cable ensures that the industry-proven RS-485 network provides a reliable two-way communication.
The control panel includes 5 buttons that control the perimeter lights, floodlights and windsock lights. In addition the panel includes a main power button for the entire system, an alarm acknowledge button and a button to dim the backlight. Three spare buttons are available, which may be used if additional components are installed in the control enclosure. Customer- specific text on buttons is optional.
Among the unique features of the system is the capability of connecting several control panels to the network, enabling full control and monitoring from several locations. Optionally a gateway may be installed to provide two-way communications to an external control system (NMEA-0183 compliant/proprietary), as well as three additional contactors and circuit breakers to make full use of the 8 control buttons at the control panel .
