The CR30W is a sophisticated charge regulator for 12 V or 24 V DC small wind applications based on a special micro-controller.
The regulation is done by a shunt load (power resistors) which is switched by the regulator to prevent overcharging. Therefore the wind generator can be connected directly to the battery and never runs unloaded.
The micro controller together with a smart electronic circuit provides high-efficiency charging technology combined with a reduction in the number of electronic components. Therefore excellent battery treatment is now available at reasonable cost and with outstanding reliability even at tough environmental conditions.

The charge regulator CRM is especially suitable for marine applications. It is completely sealed and thus effectively protected against the marine environment.
The regulator has two separate outputs, which can be used to charge two battery sets separately (eg. starter battery and service battery on a yacht). The two outputs can be connected together if only a single battery shall be charged. More than two separate battery sets are charged by wiring additional diode units between the batteries. For adaption to different types of batteries the charging voltage can be adjusted in a range of +/- 20 %

Battery chargers/charging converters – always a full battery
Starter batteries and leisure batteries are designed for different tasks. Starter batteries, in order to start the engine, must initially supply a high current level and will then serve as an energy buffer with smaller partial cycles. Supply or leisure batteries, by contrast, are charged and discharged at lower current levels for longer periods of time, which means they are subjected to significantly higher loads. Correct charging is the key to success. With a complete range of IU- and IU0U battery chargers, WAECO offers optimum charging technology for gel and AGM supply batteries. In each case, the consumed battery capacity should be replaced by a full battery charge. Even after longer journeys, with additional charge from the generator, the battery should immediately be connected to the power supply! Alternatively, you can use a PerfectCharge IU charging converter. These units guarantee optimal charging during the drive. How powerful a battery charger has to be depends on the battery capacity. As a rule of thumb, the charging current of the battery charger should be at least 10% of the battery capacity.

When setting up the battery part of your 12 or 24V system, the required capacity and battery type are not the only things you need to consider: the vital components around the battery are at least as important for the charge current supply, ease of maintenance and extra safety.
Mastervolt provides you with all the necessary high quality items to perfectly round off your installation, guaranteed worldwide.

Dolphin Battery Chargers (available from 12v10a - 24v400a) provide a reliable, stress free way to charge batteries. They are compatible with all types of generators currently available on the market.
Your Dolphin Battery Charger has an automatic 115V/230V switchover (except 12v10a & 12v15a) meaning that your charger is always compatible with shore power. Acceptable voltage range is 98 - 130 Volts and 195 - 265 Volts. Regardless of the quality of shore power (weak shore power supply in high summer) your DOLPHIN 2 will work efficiently.
Sturdy & reliable, there are 6 charging programmes suitable for all common types of marine batteries. In addition, there are 2 winterising programmes, 1 sulphation recovery programme & 1 power supply programme. This latter function is very practical for certain on board instruments or for guaranteeing a constant & efficient illumination whilst prolonging the life of the light bulb.
Many internationally renowned boat builders like Beneteau/Jeanneau and Azimut are proud to have Dolphin Battery Chargers as part of their on board system.

Unlike classic battery isolators with diodes, electronic isolators make it possible to have a very low drop between the alternator voltage level and that of the battery.
The higher the current is, the higher the voltage drop will be. The voltage drop reached, for 150A, on one channel, 90mV typ. / 120mV max (measured while warm).
At the end of the charging cycle, the current diminishes. The voltage drop becomes very weak (only a couple of mV), the batteries are thus optimally charged without having to modify the regulation circuit of the alternator.
During charging, the 150a isolator acts as a resistor of less than 1mOhm or the equivalent of a copper wire of 16mm² with a length of 1m.
Likewise, thanks to the low voltage drop, power losses are reduced thus increasing the global output of the charging circuit and reducing the heat to be vented. This diminishes the battery charging time (upon condition that the losses via the cables are negligible).

All features of a sine wave inverter and charger in one compact enclosure.
UPS functionality: seamless transfer from external AC to inverter supply.
A unique AC power management system will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery: where peak power is often required only for a limited period, the Phoenix MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery.
