All OTR trailers are supplied with complete hot-dip galvanizing protection for maximum service life. A complete stainless steel hardware package is provided, including pivot pins, fasteners, and hydraulic shafts and fittings.
These trailers feature 22,500 lb Dexter axles, complete with Firestone air-ride suspension, and 235/75R17.5 radial tires mounted on hot dip galvanized rims. The rugged steel frame is engineered to bear the vessel weight on 6" x 6" hardwood keel beams, while electronic overrides in the air suspension system provide a frame lift range of 13" - 21" over the crossbeams.
The hull is stabilized with six fully adjustable hydraulic arms. The arms also extend (manual extension) to accommodate deep-keel sailing vessels. In addition, these trailers are designed with rotating rear arms to provide greater flexibility.
Con-o-lift OTR trailers are also equipped with hydraulic front landing gear, designed to facilitate independent operation on the launch ramp (by means of a truck-mounted winch). The trailer includes a self-contained power unit and air-supply to allow the hydraulic functions and air brakes to operate without attachment to the tow vehicle.
