The HUGIN 1000 Autonomous underwater vehicle - AUV is capable of performing high-speed surveys with excellent navigation and payload data quality down to a depth of 1000 meters.
Two operational modes
The vehicle can be operated in either operator supervised or full autonomous mode. The special hydrodynamic shape, optional launching system and overall principles of our previous HUGIN 1 and 2 (operating in the North Sea since 1997) and the deepwater HUGIN 3000 vehicles have been further developed into the HUGIN 1000 design.
Minimized physical size
The additional features of the HUGIN 1000 AUV autonomous underwater vehicle include minimization in physical size but maintaining the ability to carry several different types of survey sensors for synchronized and simultaneous operation. The HUGIN concept allows integration of alternative sensors for geophysical, search and inspection purposes to be implemented, subject to customer demands.
Autonomous underwater vehicle operator station
The Operator Station includes a monitor and an operator panel with interfaces to payload operator stations and vessel mounted sensors like dGPS, HiPAP, ship attitude sensor, acoustic link and RF link systems.
Customer benefits
Very stable and low noise hydrodynamic platform for payload sensors
High manoeuvrability providing terrain following and turning radius of 15 metres
Maximum operating depth 3000 metres
Operator supervised ("acoustic tether"), semiautonomous or autonomous operation
State of the art Aided Inertial Navigation System (AINS)
Provides robustness and sound technical solutions to the demands of modern navies
Latest battery technology with up to 24 hours endurance at 4 knots
Highly flexible configuration and integration of payload systems
Typical payload sensors are synthetic aperture sonar or side-scan sonar, multibeam echo sounder, sub-bottom profiler, CTD and volume search sonar

Model: IMSV
Category: Mini Probe
Work Capabilities: Sound Velocity Calculation in Water
Operation depth: 2000 Mt
Weight: 4kg
The Ageotec IMSV Mini Sound Velocity Probe and Profiler is a high quality Mini Probe with CTD sensors for real time Sound velocity calculation in water. Sound velocity is one of the parameters on which are based acoustic systems measurements, which need accurate and reliable data for correct output.
IMSV is also characterized by high stability, simple interfacing with other device, memory capacity up to 200.000 data sets and more reliability and strength then devices based on SV sensor.
Can be mounted on ships, submarines, ROV and AUV
Applications include:
Calibration of acoustic systems (MBE, SBE)
Direct reading and self recording profiling
Sound velocity is calculated with Chen and Millero Formula
IMSV exists in two Versions:
Slim model for vessel mounting (IMSV)
Standard model for profiling (IMSVP)

Sub-Atlantic's range of hydraulic thrusters have become the preferred propulsion for ROVs and cable burial/maintenance vehicles. Working in a highly aggressive environment, they have earned a reputation for reliability, efficiency and exceptional performance.
Sub-Atlantic hydraulic thrusters are reliable due to a rugged, lightweight contruction and a ceramic shaft sealing system. These thrusters also benefit from producing near equal forward/reverse efficiency within a 5% band. The data from our performance testing has been witnessed by DNV to ensure your system design performs exactly as expected. These thrusters also benefit from the ability to fit any motor displacement size to any of the four thruster sizes due to the common, one-size motor/thruster interface. This is advantageous when accuratly matching to vehicle hydraulic system parameters.

Sub-Atlantic’s new direct drive range of brushless DC thrusters break new ground in thrust, low weight and enhanced reliability. They are currently available in four sizes, each incorporating Sub-Atlantic’s unique StatorshieldTM technology.
Sub-Atlantic’s unique StatorshieldTM system allows the thruster to continue running in the event of a shaft seal failure and subsequent flooding, without damage to the winding or electronic components. Integral electronic drives are oil filled and pressure compensated to 3000 metres / 10,000 feet. Four sizes are available with propeller diameters up to 380 mm / 15” and bollard thrusts up to 220 kgf / 485 lbf.

The ProViewer P450E-15 is a forward looking sonar that generates many narrow beams on each transmission. This allows the sonar to create a stream of crisp, rapidly updating images of the bottom while the boat is moving or at rest. These images provide a realistic view of submerged objects, shipwrecks, fish, divers, and bottom features, even in very shallow water.
At 450KHz, the P450E-15 is the perfect solution for medium range target detection, tracking, and navigation in underwater environments. Attached to the VideoRay the ProViewer sonar provides high quality images at up to 10 frames per second. Field of View: 45° Max Range: 450 Ft USB Inteface Power: 15 Watt @ 9-36 V DC Depth Rating: 1000 Ft.

Underwater systems and products specific to the Geotechnical and Subsea mining markets.
Perry Slingsby Systems is already recognized as the industry leader in jet trenching technology, the major supplier of seabed trenching machines and a recognized supplier of cable burial plows and suction piling equipment. Geotechnical engineering is the technology that drives the design of these systems. It is also the inspiration for many of the innovations and advances that Perry Slingsby Systems has introduced into this field.
Geotechnical Survey Products are highly specialized tools and systems that are used for specific testing and coring tasks on the seabed. ROV mounted Penetrometer Tool packages have been designed and delivered. Sophisticated and highly innovative seabed based coring and sampling tools are under design, and a novel system for performing rapid burial route survey assessments is soon to enter a testing program.
An ambitious R&D program in Geotechnical Engineering is well established. The program continuously challenges, updates and tests new devices for application in trenching, dredging and piling machinery applications. Highly specialized Geotechnical Consultancy services are on offer, a collaborative approach that has already resulted in highly successful joint development programs.

The SkyTraceR S.705 Radar Tracking Transponder from SevenStar Electronics Ltd has been designed to achieve accurate and reliable tracking or secondary surveillance of objects using commercially available, low cost X-band radar sets
- It features an X-band radar receiver, and a frequency-selectable, programmable X-band transmitter (within the range 9.2-9.5GHz)
- It produces a clearly recognisable radar return (‘paint’) on the surveillance radar set
- It has been designed using commercial off the shelf (COTS) components, and is the result of many years experience in the specification, design and manufacture of marine radar transponders (SARTs – Search And Rescue Transponders) and related marine safety equipment. It brings together the ultimate in high-reliability design and modern manufacturing techniques
- Its exceptionally low power consumption and small size make it ideal for tracking objects such as drones and other UAVs without affecting their usable payload or performance
- Its unique digital design brings new levels of sophistication and programmability to suit varying needs, and also gives guaranteed lifetime performance, reduced component count and increased reliability
