While not a breaking off innovation, this new generation of fouling release in aqueous phase treatment is one of the top last antifouling paintings.
It can be used on all sea boats or river boats.
Its main benefit is its innocuousness. It is a biocide-free and toxic solvent-free, therefore not hazardous for the aquatic environment and the human health.
The objective is to repel sea life without killing it.
«Seawax Fouling Release® » is mostly recommended for using on boat hulls : weight and water resistance, hydrodynamic trail are therefore reduced. Full consumption is also reduced and the hull requires less cleaning.
Its ingredients prevent and/or delay the fixation of microorganisms such as algaes, shells or shellfish and/or make it very unstable.
It brings its contribution to the preservation of sea life.
Also, there is a « self cleaning » effect when the boat sails, a water pressure is applied to the hull, all organisms then come off the substrate.
«Seawax Fouling Release® » is an alternative solution compared to actual paints, also innovative with obvious benefits for applicators.
Its technical features offer very easy to apply conditions and short drying time.

Coppercoat is based on a water miscible epoxy resin, which is
heavily loaded with pure grade (99%) fine copper powder and a mix of biocides. When fully cured, this hard wearing epoxy treatment, which contains no banned compounds and is fully certified by the Health and Safety Executive (No. 7532), forms a durable coating that offers
exceptional long term resistance to marine fouling.
When correctly applied, this long life epoxy treatment should continue to deter marine fouling for many years, the annual chore of repainting associated with conventional antifoulings, is no longer necessary.
Damaged areas can be touched up as required. If, over the
months, a slight accumulation of slime does appear, this can be removed by pressure washing or brushing.
An annual wash or brush is recommended.
Eventually, after several years, the surface may need to be lightly abraded with a fine grade of "wet and dry" paper to expose fresh copper.

Propshield is a marine product for the private and commercial boat owner alike. It is a lanolin based antifouling grease and can be used to prevent and limit both barnacles, electrolysis and oxidisation. Please note Propshield is no substitute for a good bonding system, the product will work in conjunction with your anodes to eradicate electrolysis. It is compatible with all types of stern gear and various materials from bronze propellers to painted surfaces found on outboard legs.
Propshield is a consumable product and needs to applied once a season or if your vessel is in the water all year round twice a year.

Description:
Propspeed is an environmentally safe long life foul release coating which prevents the attachment of marine growth by low critical surface tension. Propspeed does not contain the conventional copper or tin compounds or any other toxic substances which might cause environmental pollution.
Typical Uses:
As a fouling preventative coating for boat's propellers and running gear. Because Propspeed does not contain copper it is suitable for use close to stern drive and rudder assemblies.
Limitations:
The Propspeed system is not recommended nor approved for use in aquaculture or contact with food products.
