Accurate positioning: In addition to standard GPS FOR BOATS and compensation via beacons, you can also access high precision positioning data via SBAS (WAAS / EGNOS), even when out of range of beacons. This sensor can be connected to the GTD-110/150 chart for boat plotter, the CVG-80/200 plotter sounder or the K-Link System to enable precision DGPS navigation. The increasingly precise positioning data will help you improve safety at sea and locate fishing for boats spots.
18-channel reception: This sensor incorporates a parallel 18-channel receiver for boat to enable fast, accurate positioning.
Automatic station selection: This sensor contains data on every beacon station around the world, enabling it to automatically select the best beacon station at all times. |

Maretron's GPS100 provides reliable position fixes 10 times per second, accurate boat speed four times per second, and precision time once per second. The GPS100 antenna/receiver is a plug-and-play device that is fully compliant and certified to the NMEA 2000ฎ Standard.
It will directly connect to any NMEA 2000ฎ network and communicate with navigational software, chart for boat plotters, autopilots for boats and dedicated instrument displays such as Maretron's DSM200 graphical display and its compact, waterproof housing provides years of reliable performance.
The GPS100 automatically decodes GPS FOR BOATS correction signals from Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) including the North American Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS), or the Asian Multifunctional Transport Satellite-based Augmentation System (MSAS) to provide better than 3m accuracy.
The GPS100 is easily mounted to any 1 standard marine mount with its standard 114 male threads. It can also be mounted directly to a deck.

Highly accurate, stable, fast start-up, compact and affordable MARINE GPS Compass.
Precise 2D heading and positioning data to marine radar, marine sonar, chart for boat plotter and AIS. SBAS (WAAS and EGONS) ready. NMEA-0183 interface with provision for external RTCM SC-104 differential corrections. Optional indicator for boats for heading presentation in analog and digital format |
|
With the SC-110, a boat ship's heading is determined by decoding the phase data in the GPS FOR BOAT carrier frequency. In principle, a pair of marine antennas A1(ref) and A2(fore), each connected with an associated GPS engine for boats and processor, are installed along the ship's fore-aft line. The GPS systems at A1 and A2 calculate the range and azimuth to the satellite.
Characteristics
- Provides highly accurate heading data for autopilot, boat radar, AIS, Marine sonar and plotting systems
- IMO MSC.116(73) type approved as a verified THD (Transmitting Heading Device) with high accurate +/-0.6 degree
- Rapid 45 degree/s follow-up rate greatly exceeds IMO High Speed Craft requirements 20 degree/s
- High accurate GPS, WAAS Data _ SOG, COG, ROT, and L/L
- High Contrast 4.5" Silver Bright LCD
