The Bilge Alert™ system uses a patented Mirus™ field effect detector cell, which produces a micro-electrical field that detects disruptions caused by water and fluids. When activated the sensor will trigger a 100db piezo alarm for boats and an LED light for boats on the control panel for boats.
The sensor measures a small 26 mm wide x 64 mm long x 5 mm thick (1.04 x 2.5 x 0.2 in) which makes it very easy to mount. Detector cells are totally sealed, are never in contact with the water, will not corrode and are not affected by oil for boats or foreign debris. |

The new fifth edition of ISGOTT now identifies the advantage of fitting flammable gas detection at accommodation air conditioning inlet. The MM2000 is ideally suited to this duty with duct mounted flammable gas detectors for boats simply mounted on the inlet and the control panel for boats located in the cargo control room (CCR).
The addressable sensors are installed on a single four-core loop cable that saves installation costs when multiple inlets are to be monitored, for monitoring general accommodation areas and hydrogen sulphide / hydrocarbon gas detection in the cargo pump for boat room.

| RM sealock toilet, which can be installed below and above the waterline, is the logical successor of the RM standard toilet, for many years well known all over the world. The in- and outlet of the RM SEALOCK toilet can, contrary to other marine boat toilets, completely locked, if the toilet is not being used. This gives extra security against incoming water, especially when the toilet is installed below the waterline. The SCHOTTEL Pump for boat-Jet (SPJ) operates on the principle of a centrifugal pump. An impeller sucks in water from under the hull and forces it into a pump housing. The outlet nozzles are fitted in the bottom plate, making it possible for the jet to be installed in a flat-bottomed hull too.
With a compact design, low loss of buoyancy and low suction effect, Pump-Jets with power ratings up to 3500 kW develop a high thrust even in extremely shallow water and over a wide speed range. Like all SCHOTTEL products, they are distinguished by their excellent manoeuvring properties - as propulsion units for inland and coasting vessels or as independent manoeuvring and standby systems for seagoing boat ships. |
