The solution for professionals
The SLR 200 is Dual Channel Parallel AIS Receiver, designed specifically for the professional, fishing boat, leisure marine and vessel monitoring markets. It enables boats operating in busy shipping lanes to receive AIS (Automatic Identification System) information being transmitted from Class A transponders, as fitted to vessels over 300 tons, and non-mandatory Class B transponders.
Two AIS receivers monitor both AIS channels simultaneously. Unlike many AIS receivers that claim to be dual channel the SLR 200 / SLR 200G is a true parallel AIS receiver, ensuring that you receive the most up to date positions and information of all vessels around you.
Connects to an onboard PC running a compatible Navigation Program, or a dedicated Marine Chart Plotter. The information can be displayed on screen giving the skipper or navigator a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range.
The SLR 200 includes an integrated NMEA multiplexer

The SeaVieweR S.277 Dual AIS/GPS Receiver from SevenStar works with chart plotters and charting software for laptops and PDAs, and shows 'contacts' and their ID and course on the plotter display. You can see who else is within your vicinity, even if they are behind another object! (Headland, island, ship...)
The SeaVieweR receives AIS data on both AIS channels SIMULTANEOUSLY utilising 2 totally independent, synthesised VHF receivers and highly sophisticated digital signal processing. (Cheaper - and some dearer - receivers only monitor one channel at a time – so with them you can miss vessel data altogether or at best take twice as long to receive it!)
