The Online Boating and Maritime Exhibition
An adventure boat has superior stability and a powerful engine for operating in any sea and wind conditions. Many are rigid inflatables.
These all-weather craft are suitable for search and rescue at sea, coast guard and customs services, military use and for any maritime operations which must be carried out regardless of conditions.
Most such vessels have several air chambers made of Hypalon® and neoprene. They have a rigid floor of reinforced polyester or aluminum. Most have rigid steering consoles, jockey seats and grab rails. Optional features include revolving emergency lights and windshields. They carry from one to four outboard motors, depending on model and use.
Choice depends on size and seating capacity. Greater length increases stability and broadens operational capabilities.
