4-Strokes, 2-Cylinders, And All Muscle
Suzuki offers 4-stroke power in 15 and 9.9 horsepower engines, ideal for a wide range of small boats. Suzuki engineers designed these compact 4-stroke engines to respond smoothly throughout the power curve, without uneven throttle response. Available in either electric or manual start with tiller handle or remote steering, the DF15 and the DF9.9 are packed with advanced features like forged aluminum connecting rods, a one-piece forged crankshaft, a low oil pressure warning system and much more.
Perfect for fishing and exploring lakes and lagoons, ideal for a day of snorkeling, Suzuki makes a line of powerful smaller outboards with the same kind of 4-stroke innovation as our larger models. These dynamic machines are designed to power a wide range of small boats including inflatables, dinghies, sailboats, tenders, pontoons and aluminum fishing boats. They’re also designed to take a pounding with plenty of torque to push a boatload.
You’ll be surprised how much energy is packed into the small motor line from Suzuki. These lightweight 4-strokes will deliver the horsepower you need when you need it, along with great fuel economy and low emissions.
DF15 and DF 9.9
The larger of our smaller outboards incorporate advanced 4-stroke features such as electronic ignition, forged aluminum connecting rods, a durable one-piece crankshaft and a low oil pressure warning system. Amazing torque and acceleration are delivered by 302 cc of displacement. Available in either electric or manual start with tiller handle or remote steering.

Powerful V-Twin Outboard. Lightweight and Economical.
Suzuki engineers have designed an all-new 25 horsepower 4-stroke outboard motor; a new, lighter weight model for boaters and fishermen who need a powerful, compact outboard. In addition, this new 4-stroke fully complies with 2006 EPA emissions standards and carries the California Air Resources Board (CARB) 3-Star Ultra-Low emissions rating.
V-Twin Powerhead
Twin cylinders, each displacing 269 cc (total displacement is 538 cc), combined with two overhead valves per cylinder, produce maximum power at 5,000 rpm. The engine uses a single carburetor for simplicity and reliability.
New CDI System
The new DF25 incorporates a newly designed digital capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) system. Sensors monitor engine temperature and rpm and the onboard CPU instantly sets optimal ignition timing. A hotter spark makes recoil starting easier and more reliable. The new CDI system is less than half the weight of the earlier system - and is half the size. Marine-grade connectors in the wiring harness improve reliability.
|
|
This new 25 hp (18.4kW) model is the first Suzuki 4-stroke outboard to feature a V-Twin powerhead. The 70º v-bank angle is wide enough to minimize vibration without the use of a counterbalance system, and narrow enough to provide a compact profile on the transom.

4-Strokes, 3-Cylinders, And All Muscle
For the true outdoorsman, nothing is better than being out on the water, in search of waterfowl or fish. These are the moments you live for and they require a powerful outboard motor to match your goals and ambitions. The Suzuki DF30 4-stroke outboard is built to deliver power, performance and reliability, season after season, year after year, in any kind of weather. The Suzuki DF30s are more than just great outboard motors. They are the engines that power dreams.
It’s a long term relationship
Our outboards deliver on their performance promise year after year, season after season. If you’re a sportsman looking for an outboard to power your fishing boat or your duck boat, your search is over.
Performance is built in
The DF30 features a 3-cylinder powerhead. You also get 36-plus cubic inch displacement, triple Mikuni carburetors with accelerator pumps, digital CDI ingnition and available power trim and tilt. A powerful integrated alternator delivers all the amps you need without a separate belt-driven unit. Try finding that on any other outboard in this class.
Low-end torque for high-demand jobs
We call it stump-pulling power. With an impressive displacement and a muscular gear ratio, the DF30 has ample low-end torque to handle just about any job you and your boat demand. From hopping out of the hole in a hurry to scooting across the lake, this workhorse has what it takes. And features such as an oil-bathed timing chain, one-piece forged crankshaft, stainless steel water pump housing and dual water intakes keep your Suzuki running tough for years and years.

Technology That Leaves The Others In Our Wake
Fishing, swimming, tubing, cruising on the river, or hosting a party – you can spend an entire vacation on your pontoon boat! What a rewarding way to unwind and to rejuvenate – away from the stress and strain of modern urban life, with family and friends aboard. And there are no better 4-stroke outboard motors to take you there than the Suzuki DF50 or DF40. At Suzuki, we build the best 4-stroke outboard motors because we understand your enthusiasm for being on the water. After all, we go there too.
Coolest outboards on the water
No matter how much you demand from your Suzuki outboard, it keeps its cool. Our unique water-cooled intake manifold and fuel rail maintain optimum engine temperature under varying operating conditions.
Tough when it’s rough
Season after season, in rough water and calm, your Suzuki 4-stroke continues to deliver hassle-free performance. Features such as a one-piece forged crankshaft, stainless steel water pump housing, onboard computer system and precision engineering keep your outboard running strong and long.
Rigged for quiet running
When you’re running a Suzuki, you don’t have to shout at your fishing buddies to be heard. Tight fitting cowlings, a three-stage baffle chamber with thru-hub exhaust, tuned long track intake manifolds and state-of-the-art idle control keep engine noise down to an absolute minimum. And electronic engine noise is reduced considerably because the direct ignition coil is built directly into the spark plug cap. Like we said, our engineers are immersed in improving the smallest details.

The award winning Suzuki 40 hp 4-stroke outboards deliver outstanding power, excellent fuel economy, low vibration and noise - whilst meeting the world's toughest emissions requirement CARB 2008.
These lightweight aluminium 815cc, 12 valve, double overhead camshaft motors with multi point sequential electronic fuel injection have been developed from Suzuki's high performance, durable automotive engines.
The 40/50 are fitted with an integral timing chain which is maintenance free and enables the size of the engine package to be reduced considerably. Other features include the latest direct ignition system with integral spark plug caps/ignition coils reducing the number of parts and simplifying wiring. An intake manifold which incorporates a high capacity surge tank reduces noise and emission output across the entire power range whilst a silencer on the throttle body reduces engine noise at top speed even further.
